mom-daughter time ((evelyn))

It was really beginning to hit her that in less than three months, she'd be becoming a grandmother at a rather young age. She was impressed with how much James was stepping up despite everything he'd dealt with over the past few months; it was safe to say she had really come around to the whole grandchild thing since October. As it was getting closer and closer to the end of break, Edith felt as if it'd be good to spend some one-on-one time with her eldest daughter; Marilyn had already taken a portkey to live with an associate over at the New York Ghost in order to adjust to being on the other side of the pond for the exchange program at Ilvermorny. Both of her daughters were growing up so quickly in their own way... It was a bittersweet feeling.

Edith initially considered taking Evelyn to Blackrock, but she was afraid it'd be too much on her, so instead, she took her over for lunch at the Tree Hugger. Despite it being fairly popular among uni students, it was always quieter. She figured the healthy food options and stress-free environment would be better on her and the baby. She sat on the table looking at the menu. "The custom poke bowls are very nutritious, Evelyn." She hoped her cravings weren't too unhealthy...
