With his expanded allowance for the holidays, Lazar had gone out to do some last-minute Christmas shopping; he'd totally forgotten to take care of some it before break as he was too busy looking at inappropriate materials when he wasn't studying or trying to avoid Mackenna. Christmas Break was already proving to be an excellent time to revamp his image in preparation for the next semester of school. Along with his sunglasses and cowboy hat, Lazar began to wear a leather jacket with tassels dangling from the sleeves. He looked cool! All the girls were going to swoon when they saw him looking so manly! No more loserville for Lazar!

Next thing he knew, he bumped into the structure that contained the mermaid statue and fell straight to the ground with his glasses on the ground.

"Muh-my glasses! Wuh-where are th-they?!"

He couldn't be without his glasses!

Cassandra was shopping with her father and decided to wander off on her own for a bit. She had a few last minute things she needed to buy for the holidays. As she walked around the streets of Carkitt Market, she recognized Lazar across the street. She smiled a bit and then realized he was in a bit of distress. She crossed the street and bent down beside him and picked up his glasses, "Stay still." She said, her accent a bit thick as she put the glasses on his face, "There we go." She said, giving him a smile that he could hopefully now see.

He went wide-eyed as an angel, that ended up being Cassandra, came to his help. Merlin! Lazar grinned languidly at her before realizing he should probably get off the ground. Scratching the back of his neck sheepishly, he pulled his glasses back off to clean them with his shirt.

"Hey, Cass!" Lazar exclaimed as he put his glasses back on. Now everything looked straight out of a crisp 4k flat screen TV! "Thuh-thank you!" His cheeks turned a bright red. She was the most angelic angel... He needed to act natural! He's supposed to be cool now!
