Lien was right. He needed to ignore Alayna, yet it was so difficult for him to, especially when there was so few people around. It'd be impossible for him to ignore Alayna completely if he stayed at Hogwarts, and he didn't intend on finding out what she meant by sending him home earlier. James went up to his dorm as quickly as possible to finally finish packing and get the hell out of Hogwarts before he either did anything dumb or end up being the victim of something. At this point, he was on autopilot as he loudly ran up the tower to his dorm. He messaged Lien letting him know he was leaving the moment he stepped into the room. This would be the last time he'd ever go in here. There was no way he was ever returning to Hogwarts.

Moving to his bed, he pulled out his suitcase and guitar case and opened up his trunk to finish packing. Merlin, he was going to miss the jacuzzi tub in Louis' dorm and the fun times he's had in there with Lien, but he needed to get away if there was any hope of being in a good enough position for the kid. He dug through the trunk and grabbed the muggle records Jerome had given him. Would his dad want them back? He wasn't sure...

James stood there in contemplation as his head turned towards the door.
