Potions class (year 5+)

Jonathan started setting up the final touches of his class room for the beginning of his lesson. He was excited for the lesson, it was one of his favorite potions to make. And this was his higher year students, so he knew they would do well. He flicked his wand and the words DRAUGHT OF LIVING DEATH wrote along the board as he finished putting the final cauldron on the last desk. He flicked his wand again and the door opened as he walked back to his seat behind his desk as he waited for his students to arrive.

Lazar was somewhat excited for potions class; he wasn't looking forward to possibly having to deal with MacKenna, but maybe he'd skip. That'd make for a better learning situation. Walking into the classroom, his eyes widened at all of the open seats. Wow! He's the first one here! He excitedly sped over to one of the seats further in the front. Oh how happy he'd be if someone cute were to sit with him!

Abeline entered the potions classroom and sat next to the only other student that had arrived. Her bright red hair was up in a pony tail and she felt extra happy today. She smiled at the boy next to her, "Hello. You're Lazar right?" Even her voice was bright and perky that morning

Turning, his heart skipped a bit. A very pretty girl choosing to sit next to him in this empty classroom?! Wowzee! It was his lucky day! "Y-yes. I am Lazar! And name you?" Oh Merlin! She was so pretty he wasn't even speaking right! Chuckling, he adjusted his glasses as they began sliding off his face. "S-sorry. Your name?"

Ew, potions class! What use would she have from this once she was out of Hogwarts? Marilyn would never deal with such gross ingredients willingly! Never! Ever!

Entering class, she rolled her eyes at the classmates that were already there. She was going to do the bare minimum, and that was that! Marilyn found a seat in the back of the classroom.

Abeline couldnt help but giggle as he stumbled over his words, "I'm Abeline. Abeline Steele. I'm in Hufflepuff." She said with a bright smile. She noticed his glasses started to slide again, "May I?" She asked before taking a finger and sliding the glasses back up his nose, "There you go! All better."

"H-hi, Abeline. You're v-very pretty..." He was in heaven receiving so much attention! Girls would really look at a nerd like him?! Maybe not being like his father had its perks. His blood and body surged with a new warmth. Was that confidence?! Wait...

His face reddened considerably as he pushed himself closer into the desk. "Th-thank you..."

Lilith walked in with her bag slung over her shoulder. She took an available seat that had some distance away from the others. She watched Abeline Steele interacting with Lazar Tremlett which was weird. She took out her parchment and started doodling on the edges.

Carina was nervous. She sucked at potions. She just hoped the lesson wasn't hard. She turned the corner and entered the classroom, a bit hopeful. But that hope disappeared when she saw what they were going to be learning, "Really? Must it be something so difficult for the first lesson." She muttered to herself as she took a seat next to a random person, she didn't even pay attention.
