Hideaway

Bijou knew that if her family ever found her that they wouldn’t think of her as any better than the creatures they hunted. They would be out for her blood. She had betrayed them by freeing their prisoner and then running. But she just couldn’t stomach the things they did any more! She had more blood on her hands than she cared to admit and she didn’t want to live the rest of her life like that. She wanted to be free from the violence and the killing. Sure, she may not ever fully escape it, she knew her family would never stop trying to find her but maybe she could at least live some kind of normal life until they found her? That was her hope.

Though, she wasn’t starting off very well as she had just used some of her skills to pickpocket enough money to buy some food to bring back to the abandoned shack she had happened upon. Of course, she knew nothing of the shack’s reputation. It just looked like an abandoned old shack to her. She wasn’t sure if he would still be there when she returned or not. He would have every reason to leave and never look back. Though, a part of her hoped that maybe he would still be there. If nothing else then for her to make sure the wounds and such her family had inflicted had completely healed. They had kept him without blood which had slowed down his healing process but she had tried sneaking him what she could… she just wasn’t sure how much it had helped. She made sure to check around her before sneaking back into the shack. ”I’m back.” she called out softly just in case he was still there. There was no reply and she knew immediately that he was gone. Oh well, she had done her good deed in freeing him, she just hoped he wouldn't get himself into more trouble or hurt anyone.

She needed to get some more supplies though, so she headed back out the path only to run into someone.
