Quinn had spent the better part of the evening up on stage. Of course, no one there knew her as Quinn. She went by her stage name here, everyone knew her as Ember. And no one really questioned it. After all, who would be looking for one of the Cartwright brood in a place like this? Especially up on stage performing the type of music that no one would probably ever equate to the Cartwrights? Which is exactly why Quinn had chosen this place. She worked most nights as a bartender but performed any chance she got so it worked out perfectly! As it was, her show was over and she was happy to hit up the bar for some drinks and to enjoy whoever took the stage next! She walked up to the bar and ordered a drink from one of her colleagues who told her how amazing she had been. The night couldn't get any better!

Jonathan had gone with some friends to see some musician they liked play. He had never heard of her himself, but he was always down for the ride. After the show, he ended up at the bar with a shot of fire whiskey in his hand. He was leaned against the bar, watching his friends have a wild night. He chuckled softly, always the dad of the group. He noticed the girl from the stage order a drink and smiled at her then at the bar tender, "It's on me." He said throwing down a couple of coins, "You we're really great up there." He said turning back to her

Quinn was still a little high from the rush of being on stage as she walked up to the bar with a big smile on her face. She thought things had gone great and she was pretty sure that the crowd was much larger than it usually was! Maybe they had all come out to see her. She ordered a drink once she made it to the bar but looked up at the man who claimed it was on him. She gave him a smile. "Thanks." She said as she waited for the drink to arrive. Just as the rest of the club was busier than usual, so was the bar so she knew it might be a moment or two. She pulled up a barstool to wait. "You think so? Did you come out for the show?" Did this man know who she was or did he just happen to show up on a night she was performing? She always was curious about that when she spoke to people after her shows.

"You're welcome." He responded with a smile. He nodded at the bartender who immediately started making her drink so it would get to her quicker. He had taught most of these young bar tenders so he had some pull in the club, "My colleagues did. Someone has to make sure they don't try to apparate drunk and end up splinching. I'm the dad of the group, I guess you could say."

Quinn was usually one of the bartenders here, so she knew most of those behind the bar pretty well. Though, she never would object to someone else making sure that her drink got to her a little bit quicker. She could definitely use it! She ran her fingers back through her hair as he answered her question. "Ah, yeah. That would make for a horrible ending to a good night." She thought it interesting that he referred to himself as the dad of the group but she guessed that she could see it. When her drink was given to her, she took it and took a drink from the glass. "I'm Ember." It was her show name and the name she went by here to keep from being recognized as a Cartwright. Sure, she still had the Cartwright look but in her grunge style, she was much less noticeable as one of them. That was exactly what she wanted.

"Yeah. They're like, half morons so I make sure everyone gets home safely and in one piece." When she introduced herself, he nodded at her, "It's very nice to meet you, Ember. My name is Jonathan Maddox. I'm a professor at Hogwarts. I teach potions." It wasn't as cool as what she did, but it paid the bills. Well most of the time it did.
