Born to the prominent Bellchant family, Acacia had a natural inclination towards magizoology although she also caught an interest in the healing arts. She wasn't the most powerful of witches, but her magic was well enough for her to get by. Her most famous relative has to be Astor Bellchant who happened to be her uncle. Besides herself and her parents in her immediate family, there were six other children. When she went to Hogwarts, she was sorted into Hufflepuff and did well in her classes.

As it was wartime, she quickly settled down with Ernest Macmillan and quickly began having children so their lineages could live on. Fortunately, they both got to live to see the end of the Second Wizarding War. For the most part, they were quite happy despite the impulsiveness of their union. However, after giving birth to Aster, Acacia wanted something more; she had done most of the child-rearing as Ernie was working long hours. The affair she had was short-lived and it produced a son named Hyacinth. It was fairly obvious to them both that Ernie wasn't the father following his birth. They entered couple's therapy and came out stronger with better communication. To her delight, Ernie raised Hyacinth as his own. Now that the pink elephant in the room had been addressed, she could only hope their children don't have any more discord among themselves.
