Past Loves (Victoire)

He didn't have many woman that he truly fell in love with. Sure he was a good guy and his dad always wanted him to treat a girl right. Not like he did that because if he did that than maybe just maybe they would have a mother in their life, but their mother didn't love them enough.

Although Adam wanted to believe he was changing that.

It was nearing some of his exams, and Adam wanted to get some books. He was spending hours trying to study and he knew that he needed to be on his A-Game. That was one of the most important things about his life right now, and he decided to ask someone to come along. "You ready to have a study session?" he asks at the entrance of the library.

Victoire had agreed to study with someone she was a lot closer to back in her Hogwarts days. She just hoped he wouldn't be scared off by whatever body part she had managed to transform into a mushroom this time; her reputation had always been a bit out there due to her eccentricity.

"Yep! I aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!" Victoire replied sticking up her thumb. Her thumb had turned into fly agaric.

Adam gave Victorie an awkward grin, "Good and I swear I will never get used to it." he laughed. He was willing to try though and he admired Victoire willingness to be herself.

"My thumb is fine, it really is! This isn't the first time it ended up a mushroom, did you know that?!" Victoire said as if it was totally normal. "I work and experiment with my spores a lot! I wonder if I could make paper from them!"

"Are you serious? How long did it take?" he asked her with a grin. He always wonder how she did it no matter how disturbing it was for him. "With how much you experiment. I'd say you'd get a paper and end up getting an Outstanding! Maybe could present that to your professor." he grinned.

"Ummm, I don't know, I don't!" Victoire never kept track of time. She was awful at it! "It'd work if I was taking more science courses this semester, it would!"

That was definitely sad for Adam to hear.

"Why aren't you taking them? It's your best subject."

Wasn't it obvious? "A lot of the classes I was interested in were filled! I ended up focusing on core classes and other interests instead, I did!"

Adam understood that plus it meant she had more time later. "It just means you will more time for those fun classes later, eh?" he chuckled.

"Aw right you guys are getting married." he said with a chuckle, "You excited?"

Victoire nodded. "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeep! We plan on eloping sometime over spring, we are!" It would give her something else to focus on other than her sister's pregnancy.

"Sure! It'll just be a courthouse thing, yep!"

“Of course.”

Victoire smiled. This was going to be great! "We haven't decided on a date yet! Probably sometime soon though, yep! Spring is quite soon, it is!"

“That’s exciting? It is almost spring. You having a honeymoon?”

He was happy for Victoire, but he wanted to get why everyone was falling in love.

“I mean you will be living at a honeymoon destination.”

That right there was one.
