He was beginning to feel young again. Sure, Harrison has looked young forever, but he felt too much like an adult after getting a respectable job and settling down. He was craving thrills and spontaneity again. Hanging with Indigo, a much younger man, allowed that. Was it a midlife crisis? That was very possible.

To find an excuse to spend time with him on Christmas Eve, Harrison left a note saying that he was going out to find some last-minute stocking stuffers in the muggle world and that he'd be back. They weren't going to go out to look for him after all. As always, he asked Indigo to meet him at the roller rink. It had become their spot although Harrison had been a regular for years.

Harrison was leaning by one of the claw machines as he tied his skates on.

It was unusual for Indigo to go out on Christmas Eve. He usually spent his evening with his family, putting the embellishments and finishing touches onto his wrapped gifts. There was a Christmas Eve ritual, so to speak, and announcing to his parents that he was going somewhere to meet someone - they were at once, full of questions. It made him very cagey and irritable.

By the time he got to the club, however, he was feeling a lot better. He saw Harrison, and admired from a distance how handsome he was. What sort of a woman was married to him? She was probably a genial sort of woman who would never think ill of anyone. Meanwhile, Indigo had taken him away from her on Christmas Eve...

"Evening, Harrison," He said, meaning for it to sound as though he was greeting a superior at work. It came out a little breathless and giddy though, which annoyed him. "I've never been out on Christmas eve before, do you do it every year?"

There we go. Laces tied. Hearing Indigo's voice, Harrison looked up and immediately smiled. "No, I don't. I'm usually at home. Speaking of that, after this, do you want to help me find stocking stuffers? I had to come up with an alibi..."
