Those who weren't affected were safely escorted back to their common rooms. Those who were affected proved difficult to round up, but around 3am, they had all exhausted themselves. They fell into a deep sleep, and were transported to the Hospital Wing.
The affected students slept for twenty-four hours. When they awoke, they were given pepper up potion. They had all returned to normal, and their bites had healed over entirely. Their memories of that night were all hazy, but with a little reminding... they could remember everything.

UPDATE 31/08 -- JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, THE STUDENTS STILL DON'T KNOW ENTIRELY WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM OTHER THAN 'LOSING THEIR MINDS' AND THAT IT WAS TO DO WITH THE VINE.
