Hazel knew she was the type of person who fell too quickly for a guy, and she was very much doing that with Jovian and everyone was catching on to that. Even if she was trying to be loyal and loving, and yes she knew it was going to be apart of her life right now.
It's how it was working out for her.
The Hufflepuff also liked to try and live, and feel valued every day. It's all she wanted, and tonight she was meeting someone hoping they wouldn't keep her waiting. It only ever was forgiven when it was with Jovian who was bound to him right now.

Alessandro had agreed to meet with a lovely brunette from the Hufflepuff house, he was finding his way around and was liking being able to be free. His heart however would always belong to his soul mate Nicoleta, with having to hide their relationship he had decided to not be tied down to anyone and get with as many as the young ladies in the school that he could.
Walking into the Forbidden Corridor with a smile on his face when he saw Hazel waiting for him. She was beautiful but did nothing compared to Nicoleta, the girl was just his latest conquest. "I do have to say you look beautiful tonight, my dear," he said in a greeting.

Hazel knew so many would find her wrong for how she was sleeping around with another guy, but she liked to think aside from Jovian she was free. Yes she was engaged, but she heard stories, and every now and then she knew how Jovian treated her was wrong.
Maybe call this trying to feel a form of self-worth.
A form of self-worth that it didn't make sense to her, but it's how she felt. The Hufflepuff wanted to feel some form, and when she heard the voice of Alessanrdo. She gave him a smirk on his face, and she had looked right at him, and she smirked. "Why thank you, and I have to say you look good to." it was a truth, and she couldn't help, but know that he probably had feelings for someone else.
It just made sense that would be the case.
