Arithmancy: Introduction to Numerology ((3-5))

After managing to drown out the noise from the music room nearby, Diethelm was ready to teach a generation of students the importance of numerology in various pursuits; it was more prevalent than most people would ever realize. On the chalkboard, he drew up a chart.


Diethelm waited for students to arrive as he caught up on the day's paper.

Rosemary found herself to be the first to arrive in class. How many students signed up for this elective anyway? Arithmancy was never the most popular of classes, but she needed to fill up her timetable.

She looked at the board as she took a seat. Well, this seemed interesting.

"So, we're learnin' 'bout our letters and numbers?"

Those were the words that escaped Andy's mouth when she entered the class. "No offense, prof, but why are we relearnin' that?"

Anelie arrived to one of her first classes in this huge castle; it was scary not knowing anyone other than a few relatives. Hopefully, it wouldn't end up not being too bad and that she could make some friends.

She looked around as she saw two other girls. One seemed to be okay and the other intimidated her a bit. Anelie smiled as she waved at them and the professor. She needed to keep her chin up!

Diethelm, not moving his eyes from the newspaper, chuckled before replying to Andrea, "I would hope you would know your letters and numbers otherwise you wouldn't have signed up for this class."

He checked his roster out of the corner of his eye. Where was everybody else?
