I am led to believe that the Matei vampires only had one offspring, a female, after we interrogated one of our long-standing captives that had previous affiliation with the Matei. The adult vampires we inhumed seemed to have destroyed all photographs and evidence of ever having offspring, although we can confirm that it is true. Going by an extremely vague memory of the female from our captive, we have drawn up a likeliness of her appearance.

As we have dealt with the vampire witness protection before, we can gather that the female has likely travelled to a country where the laws of vampires are laxer.

In Germany, Austria, Poland and Denmark we have stricter rules in place to condemn these beasts for what they are. In places like the United States, United Kingdom, Eastern Europe and South Africa; they have laws that allow greater freedom, such as allowing them education in their Wizard institutions. Our first port of call will be the United Kingdom: specifically Scotland, where Hogwarts school is known to be hidden.

I will be taking my family with me to stay for an unforeseeable duration.

The Matei female likely has protection, so our first objective is gathering intelligence.

Working with the German Ministry, I have been able to procure a placement within the British Ministry. In their department devoted to the management of magical creatures, I will now sit within the "Being Division". The British government has a lot to learn about the ongoing dangers of Vampiric activity, and I have a strong inclination that the general public are shielded from the true statistics. During my stay, I hope to enlighten the magical population of the true disposition of these fiends.

There is a lot to be revised in the "Guidelines for the Treatment of Non-Wizard Part-Humans", which strictly prohibits vampire hunting or, indeed, greater punishment for the vampire infidels. With any luck, I should be able to sway certain paragraphs of these guidelines as they are, merely, guidelines.
