"Yeah. But next time, don't leddit touch the ground! Keepin' the score, Uncle Ron?"

Fred felt like he was in his element. Volleyball seemed to come naturally to him, even though he hadn't much experience in the sport. This was just a friendly game between the lads. Fred liked the feeling of wearing just shorts. It was perfectly liberating around the privates.

Louis laughed. He was having fun with Fred, but hadn't managed to score a point against him yet. It was nice to be able to do something like this before University began. Pretty much throughout sixth year, the summer before seventh and during his seventh year; Louis felt as though he'd worked hard to get the grades he'd hoped for.

He was wearing pink shorts. Fred had dyed them for 'a joke'. Apparently the colour would wear off after twenty four hours. Louis wasn't bothered though - at least they were having fun. "Maybe we should see if anyone else wants to play. Uncle Ron, are you sure you don't want to?"

"Yeah... plenty sure."

No - he didn't want to. He was perfectly fine eating his ice cream on the side lines, watching his two nephews leap and dance around like a couple of prats. Good to get a few laughs.

"I'm keeping score. Fred - you got fifteen. Louis you're at zero, mate. You could do with some help." He grinned behind his sunglasses.

In his hand was a bludger. Why did he bring a bludger to a friendly volleyball game? The same reason you'd bring a gun to a knife fight.

"Hey, uncle Ronny, catch!" James yelled out from behind as he threw the ball towards him.

Catch?

Ron turned, and saw James in the distance. Then there was that whistling sound: he recognised that sound anywhere, although he hadn't played Quidditch in quite some time.

Instead of catching though, Ron instinctively ducked.

"A bludger James? Really?"

Fred was preparing to hit back the ball that Louis served, but he got struck on the stomach by a bludger. A bludger?!

"Oof!" He bucked, and sank down onto his knees. Well - that was one way for Louis to score a point.

"It was all in good fun, Ronny."

He couldn't contain his laughter when it ended up hitting Fred. "5 points! Woo~!"

Screw the game. James was going to get it.

"I'll give ya five points y'little-" Fred charged after James, laughing.

He gleefully ran away from the scene. "What are ya going to do? Give me a wedgie and call me Jimmy?"
