Why I am doing this? (Ezekiel)

Delaney wasn't sure why did she even have to go through this Secret Santa thing or why she has agreed to do in the first place. All this seemed such stupid idea for her but here she was now waiting for the person she was supposed to do the gift. She didn't even care if the person liked it or not. Also that person was boy which made it even harder to choose something decent then again she barely did even search. She had bought just something that looked enough to be gift.

Ezekiel had been asked to meet his Secret Santa in the Room of Requirement, he didn't know who it could be but he was extremely curious and happy about it really. He always loved Christmas so anything he got would be good enough for him. He made his way to the meet up place and walked in. He saw a Slytherin girl and gave a wave. "Guessing you're my Secret Santa?" Ezekiel asked.

Delaney looked at the guy and just tried to smile there. She wasn't really a fan of Christmas. She just didn't really like them, she didn't have a really normal family. Just aunt and her sister, about who the girl didn't care about much nowadays. "If you are Ezekiel the yes." She didn't care if she was rude or anything.

Ezekiel didn't know what he did to the Slytherin but he honestly didn't care. He just wanted to be done with this whole ordeal since she obviously had something better to do and he just wanted to go somewhere else. "Yes I am" he said.

Delaney just was who she was, she never cared much about others and most of the time people never had done anything to her but she still was mean to them. That's was just who she was. "Here you go," she gave her a small bag with a present in it. There were just some random t-shirt and some perfume, the last one was recommended to her by the shopkeeper. She had no clue if it was even any good.

Ezekiel was always weird when it came to Christmas due to his past he was never really into the whole Christmas scene but he had to suck it up. The Gryffindor smiled politely at the Slytherin. "Thank you, this is very thoughtful. Funny thing is I always by this cologne" Ezekiel smirked.

Delaney wasn't into Christmas too and she knew that this wasn't really something she did really enjoy. Mostly because her aunt tried to always go so all out there just for her and her sister, what was annoying these days. It wasn't same anymore. "Well, that's good you like it. That cologne was recommended by the shopkeeper," she said there with a small smile. She tried to be nice and honest these days.

Ezekiel could just tell this Slytherin wasn't into Christmas just like he really wasn't since his mother died. It was harsh yes but it was how he felt. Kiel smiled and nodded. "Shopkeeper knows his stuff then" Ezekiel chuckled before looking at the Slytherin. "Well thanks again, I don't want to hold you up any longer then you had to, I'll see you around" Ezekiel did a wave before he left.

Delaney nodded her head. She didn't enjoy Christmas and she won't really ever. She never into why she didn't like. "They usually do yes," she said. "I guess yeah see you around," she said and watched how he left and few minutes later she left the room too.
