the beaten tree (hyacinth)

Blake had been enjoying the fresh air, even though it was getting chilly. He had been dressed in his uniform and his scarf, because the male couldn't afford to be chilly. So he needed to bundle up, and he needed a walk on the school grounds. It was getting boring in the common room, and he wanted to find some degree of fun for him to do. So he walked with his hands in his pocket on the ground, and decided he'd go down to the Whomping Willow to see what it was about.

One of his favorite places, even though he didn't care much for violence. It was an old tree and Blake had plans on watching the tree in the distance. Knowing others were not as thrilled as him, but he was one it was safe to say had an interest in the fun stuff. So he walked down, and decided from a ledge he sit and watch the tree seeing if anything interested happen.

Hoping no one would disturb him.

The cold weather had been making Macmillan even more determined to go to Blackrock in the near future; he truly believed he thrived in the rays of the sun embracing the waves of the ocean. Unfortunately, he had to force himself into getting some form of fresh air instead of suffocating in Hogwarts' musk.

Rather than risk walking towards the direction of the Forbidden Forest, Macmillan opted to go more in the direction of Hogsmeade instead hoping to not go too far from it. It surprised him when he saw someone watching the Whomping Willow as if it was entertainment.

"What are you doing?"

Blake had watched from a distance the Whomping Willow and had been enjoying the peace. He had very little tolerance to dealing with the kids back at the school. But his peace was interrupted by an familiar voice and he turned to see Macmillan. Rolling his eyes, "I'm watching the Whomping Willow, and isn't it a little odd for you to be out in the cold?" he asked with curiosity.

"I can only handle so much of the Hogwarts musk," he responded shaking his head. "The enclosed pool also isn't the same as being in direct sunlight."

Hogwarts Musk? Something that made Blake agree to an extent. "We can agree on one thing. The school is daunting, thank god we graduate this year." he said with a sigh. When he spoke about how being at the pool wasn't the same as sunset, he looked. "Now that's a shocker. Minus the view being far more interesting then whatever you did. I must say I'm impressed." he said with a smirk.

"I'm just ready to be away from my siblings..."

It was obvious that he wasn't the most fond of them.

Blake knew from talks that Macmillian didn’t get along with his family, and to an extent Blake could feel for him and he nodded, “Yeah that’s always good. I suppose your plan is to move to Bleakrock? You going to school or do you plan on doing other things?” he asked with curiosity.

He couldn’t imagine being a surfer getting him far.
