After hours (open)

Ashton had grown bored of sitting in the common room. It was almost 11:30 pm and he couldn't sleep. He groaned as he got off the couch and exited the common room. He figured walking around a bit might make him tired. He walked down the hallway of the dungeons and stared at the pictures on the walls

Faye had the unfortunate job of patrolling the dungeons that evening after curfew, and was annoyed that she was so far from Ravenclaw tower. It should be Slytherin or Hufflepuff prefects that are situated down here, but she supposed there had to be some level of fairness in their patrolling locations.

After what seemed to be a very quiet and boring sort of hour, she turned the corner and almost immediately pegged her eyes on a boy out of his common room. It was one of Narkissos's dorm sharers. She recognised him instantly.

"What do you think you're doing?" She asked at once, striding up to him.

Ashton looked when he heard a voice. He recognized the girl as one of Jetsons friends. He smirked and looked her up and down "It's called walking, sweetheart. It's when you put one foot in front of the other to get from point a to point b." He said, the sarcasm thick on his tongue. "You're Jetsons little toy. Phiera, right?" He smirked and bowed his head a bit "Ashton Harrington, at your service. What type of service that is, is up to you. "

As one can imagine, someone like Faye didn't appreciate his sarcasm. Or being referred to as a toy. She turned a little pink at this. Hers and Narkissos's friendship was very precious to her, but she preferred to think they were on equal footing.

"How about the service where you go back to your dormitory?" She said shortly, "It's half-past eleven at night, you shouldn't be out roaming the corridors. You are old enough to understand this by now, surely."

"It's boring there." Ashton Saod when she told him to go back to the common room. "I'm old enough to know I have trouble sleeping. So I walk to tire myself out." He leaned against the wall and smirked " You gonna punish me if I don't? Because I promise, it will be much pleasurable if I were to punish you."

"Some people find mental stimulation as a way of exhausting the brain as well, but something tells me you're not eager to try things like that."

She didn't even know why she was bothering with suggestions to ease his insomnia. She really didn't care about this little twerp and his annoying behaviour.

"Don't lean against there! Get going, go on!" She wafted him in the direction of the Slytherin common room, "Why would you need to punish me? I'm not skulking around late at night. I will have to give you detention for this, though. There's a reason why there's a curfew!"

"I've tried mental exhaustion. I spent the last 2 hours translating ancient runes. It didn't help. So I thought physical exhaustion might." He laughed when she started telling at him about leaning against the wall. "Oh, Little Bird, punishment isn't just used for... Well... Punishment." He gave her a wink before running a hand through his hair "If you think a detention is gonna phase me, you're wrong."
