we all go down (dysmas)

Maddie had from the day she gave birth to her daughter had wanted Dysmas to be invovled. Even if it was very apparent that he couldn't raise the kid. And she had liked to be to supervise the visits, and she wasn't about to do it alone. It was close to a year and she often wondered if maybe her daughter would be better off having a father figure all there. But she knew her biological father and she wasn't going to let someone get out of this on her. Even if their living conditions were good enough her philosophy, if one went down they all did.

So she had decided the three would meet at The Three Broomsticks. It was a neutral enough, and she was starving. Hoping that Dysmas wouldn't ditch her out, because she wouldn't let him live it down. The two had waited for him to arrive, not wanting to order until they came. Maddie looked at her daughter and just hoped this would go well. Even if she wasn't letting people get off clean.

If he had a complete choice, he wouldn't be in his daughter's life as he knew she deserved better. Dysmas was in absolutely no position to be a father - not in the financial, emotional, or mental sense. He had a lot of his own baggage to get through first, and his situation was simply too unstable to inflict upon her.

He entered the Three Broomsticks slightly scratching his head trying to locate Madison and the kid. He really needed to get a bottle of dandruff shampoo...

"Hi," Dysmas greeted once he approached them.

Maddie was fixing her daughter’s high chair, because one of the straps were broken. She really hoped Dysmas would come, but when she looked up. He came strolling into the The Three Broomsticks. She had let out a grin, “Oh hey. I see you showed up.” she said giving him a look. “How’s Hogwarts going for you so far?” she asked hoping to be curious.

"Okay, I guess. Been worrying about NEWTs."

Hopefully he didn't have to pay for food as he didn't really have the money for it...
