tuesday morning ((open))

After waking up to nearly finding a shank in her eye, Iris decided to camp out in the common rooms until she knew for sure the Head of House was up for her to report the incident. Why was Lestrange not even put in her own dorm yet?

Fittingly, Iris chose a book on self-defense to read. She was going to make sure to sleep with an eye open that night.

Vanessa woke up early to go for a morning jog to keep in shape. She made her way down to the common room and was surprised to find someone else awake "I'm usually the only one up this early" she said sipping her jumper up to keep the wind from hitting her body when she got outside

"I almost got that eye gouged if that answers your question," Iris replied not looking up from her book.

What a way to start the day.

"you must room with Lestrange. I've heard whispers. Glad I'm not on that dorm" she said with a soft laugh " but I'm sorry you have to deal with it. Must be kind of scary" she said chewing on her bottom lip " I'm Vanessa, by the way. Vanessa zabini. Fifth year"

It wasn't that scary. Just unpredictable and annoying. It just ended up being her turn waking up to such a sight.

Vanessa stiffened a bit at the girls name. Parkinson. It wasn't a very common name. She wondered if perhaps... No that wasn't possible. There was no way her mother would give her up and have another child "you wouldn't by chance have any relation to pansy Parkinson, would you?"
