mysterious (open)

Theodore had the displeasure of seeing Auror Jetson painted up for Halloween while handing out Ministry flyers. He was uncertain of the sanity of that man: perhaps he had received too many curses to the head and it had scrambled his brain, but at least he didn't have to be associated with him. He was at this Ministry mixer (begrudgingly) to try and get university students interested in the Department of Mysteries.

They had a few items for the students to look at: shards of shattered prophecies, broken time-turners and one of the brains from the brain room was stuffed in a jar. He thought it was all very ridiculous. So far they were just a passing fancy for grubby children who just wanted to wipe their hands over everything.

He sat, looking annoyed.

Miriam was at the stall feeling oddly powerless, but she chalked it up to being beside Theodore; she found him to be draining and a bore, but a Ministry assignment was a Ministry assignment.

"Seems like more people are reacting to the culinary school stall..."

She might as well initiate some conversation so they weren't sitting and standing in silence.
