To welcome back the students of Ilvermorny to the new term, as well as welcoming the exchange students crossing the pond, the Principal has organised a feast of classic British delicacies for the students to enjoy. The tables are stacked with buffet-style Afternoon Tea snacks: finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, a wide cake selection, macaroons, quiches, custard tarts, strawberries and cream and trifles (to name a few).

Open to the general public, the Ministry is hosting their yearly Christmas event in the form of a formal. The dress code for the event involves the colors of silver and gold for a more refined side of Christmas. However, neutral colors are also acceptable. Many major public figures in the magical world are slated to attend.

Start of the school year, y'all know the drill. Maybe Cousin Skeeter will periodically show up for various reasons.

Hogwarts is celebrating the beginning of the Quidditch season with a semi-formal dance, taking place in the new gymnasium. Check the main thread for an announcement about another event which will follow this one!

Hufflepuff and Gryffindor are going up against each other for a friendly match / scrimmage. The whole school are invited to watch, no matter which team they will be supporting. The weather is cold but still, and it's a clear day with very little cloud.
