First topic message reminder :

Alayna had more or less permanently relocated to the Rowle Estate as soon as they arrived back from Hogwarts. She had her own room out of decency, but Ptolemy was certain his parents knew of her sleeping in his room every night anyway: they just didn't say or do anything about it. The room contained her belongings mostly, but also the suits of the groomsmen and the dresses of the bridesmaids and maid of honor. Ptolemy hadn't seen Alayna's dress, but they both preferred to keep it that way.

The manor was empty with the exception of Parzival, but he had locked himself inside his room and would probably remain there for the duration of the day. Using this opportunity, Ptolemy had invited Atticus and Carina over as a surprise for Alayna: it had been at least two weeks since they'd all seen each other.

Atticus had already arrived. He and Ptolemy were sat in the living room in silence, with only the quiet ticking of the grandfather clock sounding between them. Ptolemy wasn't particularly unnerved by this though, he knew Alayna would come downstairs soon to greet them.

Alayna shook her head to try to stop the tears from falling. She would not cry. "I would only have you kicked out if you brought him with you after my explicit explanation of me not wanting him there. If you choose him over me then you can just leave now."

"Then just stop Atticus! Please." She looked at him with her jaw clenched, trying to regulate her breathing like the healer taught her to not get too stressed, "I'm sorry ok. Maybe another time. But not my wedding. And not while im still pregnant. And you have to speak to Ptolemy about it." She would try to bebe lenient. For Atticus.

"Okay..." he sighed, feeling they would just go back and forth continuously otherwise.

Sitting down next to her, he gave her a big cuddle and kissed her cheek.

"I love you."

Now he really could change the subject.

"The first two trials of making your wedding cake went horribly wrong, but the two after that went well. I've gone for five tiers - because an even amount of tiers looks strange to me, and there's variations of purple throughout - some lighter and some darker, but they're still the same shade. I mean for the piping and finishing touches, that is. The majority of it is white. Would you want fresh flowers as decoration on it, or would you prefer I did edible ones from sugar paste?"

He was clearly getting very into cake making as of late.

Alayna cuddles into him when he wrapped his arms around her and sighed, "You know I love you, Atti. I just wish he wasn't such a problem between us. I'm sorry. I don't like him. I don't think I ever will. And I know ptolemy never will. I just don't want it to cause more issues later on, once the twins are born." She listened to him speak of the cake and thought for a moment, "Sugar flowers. Edible decorations are a classic."
