The TRUE History of Magic (open to ALL students)

Ralph wrote his name on the board, 'dr. Ralph' so students knew what to call him. Of course those who know him know he doesn't care for formalities. At the same time, those who know him would call him much more vulgar things. He wasn't surprised though, he rather enjoyed it. He has a tendency to mess with anyone, above or below him. Even so, schools like Hogwarts were always fair game. He began to laugh to himself, knowing he would get a kick out of today. The early year is a great time to drop on unsuspecting students, and as the year goes on, press further.

Ralph looked at the clock, there was still time to prep the last prop of this little event. He walked through the desks, looking over his seating chart. He found a desk used by a student who was never in his classes before. He opened the students desk drawer, and saw the textbook inside. He pulled out what seemed to be a pen. "You know what to do Nemis." Ralph put the pen inside the drawer and walked over to his desk. He turned and faced the door, waiting for the students to arrive...

Mckenna frowned and stared at the shadowed figure before turning back to Felix and resting her hand near his. If that shadowed fuck tried to scare her shed punch it straight in the face. She didnt know if it would have any effect on it, but she would do it none the less. She huffed a bit in frustration and tried to focus on the lesson

Scarlett looked around and saw a few classmates and just pulled out her materials for the class as Emilie copied her. She had grown used to her sister doing everything she did, she saw it as a form of flattery in a way.

James observed as the professor had been making his usual comments. He didn't want to get involved nor did he want to become the subject of anything Ralph would turn into a rumor. Before he knew it, he had witnessed Nemis being a dick as usual. He really pitied the new kid. It was a rather crappy way to start a first class ever. Sighing, he looked down at the desk still hoping that Azazel would come.

Realizing that he was late, Hugo sped to class as he was listening to the Monkees on a Walkman he had found at some Muggle thrift store. He needed to listen to his Monkees to help him get through the day. Entering the room, he looked around and found a seat near his sister. He had no clue what this professor would be like, but he had heard some stories from the upperclassmen in his house.

Ralph saw a kid enter class, they appeared to be a first year. He shrugged, in the end he didn't care they were late. He would let Nemis handle it. Nemis had hidden himself in Apollo's desk as the kid entered. Once Hugo sat down, Nemis slid out of the desk, and the shadow moved across the ground. Once Nemis was behind him, he rose over the new kid. He had altered his form to look more tattered. "BOO!" Nemis threw his body forward enough so that Hugo could see a few pieces of him. The living shadow altered his form back, to slim and muscular.

Ralph smiled, and Nemis walked to the front of the room. "Maybe if you aren't late next time, that won't happen." Ralph shrugged. "Well, maybe. I'm not really concerned about the whole being late thing. Nemis may or may not do that." The two teachers sat in the front of the room, Nemis forming a throne for himself.

Ralph and Nemis decided that they would actually get on with their class, though their 'teaching' would go it's usual direction. "Class is now getting to it's second lesson," Ralph said, "the first lesson was Nemis." Ralph looked to Nemis now. "First of all," Nemis started, "your text book is full of lies, so you don't have to bother reading it. We will tell you the true history." Nemis signaled it was Ralph's turn again.

"Perhaps you're the studious type," Ralph picked up a text book with one hand, and showed it to the class, "you may read this to get an idea of what history isn't." Ralph put the book back down, as Nemis started again. "We found video to use as an introduction to the time of magical history we will be studying," Nemis stood up and turned on a projector, that way the class could see the educational video, "turn your attention to the screen now." "You fucking ass!" he screamed as he proceeded to squint his eyes at Ralph. Narkissos definitely wasn't as calm as he would be if he had his cup of coffee. "You better not be..." Narkissos stared Ralph down as he found himself a seat to sit at. He had barely been in the room for a few minutes, and he was already sick of it. Grunting, Narkissos paid no mind to what was going on until the video began playing. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" he hissed. "You and your gargoyle are such fucking pissboys!"

Felix lightly cringed at what Ralph and Nemis said, but he was fairly used to it at this point. That being said, it was scary what he was adjusting to. He brushed that thought away very quickly, as Nemis mentioned a video. He was really curious what video there was that would actually cover magical history. Felix wasn't dumb though, he knew this was all part of his usual antics. Despite knowing that, it didn't ease the impact when Ralph opened the video. That Gargoyle proceeded to laugh, and so did the professor. Narks comment didn't slow down their laughs either, it may have increased it actually. Felix just put his head down, and tried to block out their laughs for a bit.

McKenna's eyes darkened and her ears twitched with anger "they cant be fucking serious. Why can't we get a competent teacher that will actually teach us a history of magic instead of making it some big joke!?" She shouted as she stood and slammed her hands on her desk. Leaning forward her ears twitching more and more "I will not stand for this. I take my education seriously. Now either teach us or I will go to head master and have you fired. Both of you idiots better take this seriously!"

Both Ralph and Nemis were loving Nark's reaction, and the fact that Felix simply put his head down amused them. Though McKenna's reaction did generally catch their attention. The girl seemed a bit special, more than simply being a kitsune.

Ralph managed to calm himself down enough to clear his throat, Nemis still laughed, but quieted down. "Ms.Rivers, if you remember what I said." Ralph let a smile on his face, "I said if you were the studious type, you are allowed to read through the text book." Ralph shrugged again. Nemis had stopped laughing now. "Also as he said, that helps you get an idea of what history isn't." Nemis sat back down, trying to hold in some giggles. "I need some time to breathe, if you'll excuse me." Nemis faded into the ground taking his shadowy throne with him.

Felix heard a shout, and pulled himself to look towards the source. He saw that McKenna was standing and practically leaning over the desk. Felix felt bad for her, he was curious if this was the first time she was taught by him, or just lost it at this point. Then with what Ralph and Nemis said, he knew they would probably use that to their advantage later. Her anger was quite visible. Felix wanted to stand and say something, but he knew it was hardly useful with these two. He decided he would just watch and see where things went, and intervene if she got more angry. He felt a slight jealousy at the sight of her ears however, he shook his head sure that he was just being selfish with his thought.

McKenna's body was shaking with rage and magic practically radiated off her body. "Saying the text books are false!? The only false thing I see here are you two idiots being teachers!" She shouted as her nails dug into the wood of the desk "its ridiculous. As are you!" She gripped the edge of the desk to keep from grabbing her wand "they give us the books for a reason. The only lie I see is that youre apparently a certified professor"

Hugo flinched at the shadow that had popped out in front of him. Rolling his eyes, he spit out his tongue. "Sure, I was late, but I had to wait for the damn stairwells to go in my direction!" he responded. He crossed his arms. "At least I have my Monkees..."

He looked over at his young cousin who had just gotten spooked by Nemis. "Cousin, are you alright?" James asked out of concern. Although he had known that Hugo considered himself to be rather independent, he couldn't help but try to see if he was alright. Hugo was practically the baby of the family after all, so he couldn't help but feel a bit of responsibility for his well-being.

Ralph could tell that McKenna was especially angry, she was practically begging for his attention. Though he did sense her magic, radiating. Ralph was curious to see what would happen if he pushed further, she seemed to have her hands close to her wand. What the other students were doing didn't interest him, not as much as this anyway. Ralph adjusted his posture, keeping his guard up. "You seem to be surging with more than emotion McKenna." Ralph looked downward a little bit from her. "So much in fact, you seem to be distracted."

Right as Ralph had finished a shadow shot up from the ground in front of her desk, forming a large mass. It formed to be somewhat of a dragon, it displayed an intimidation around it. Clearly this was Nemis. "GRAARRR!!!" Nemis let out a screech, adjusting his voice to be unsettling as well.

McKenna frowned when he mentioned her being distracted. Her eyes flickered to Felix then back at professor nemis "I've never been more focused or more determined than I am now" suddenly nemis was in front of her trying to scare her. She blinked a few times before chuckling darkly "oh you poor little shadow. Was that supposed to frighten me. Because it didn't" she said laughing a bit louder as if to taunt the creature of darkness

Nemis began to chuckle himself. "Try to scare? Well maybe," Nemis morphed back into his usual form, "I was more testing to see what you'd do. I could practically feel the magic coming from you." Nemis let a tattered smile cross his face, appearing as many fangs. His blank red eyes looked straight into hers. He was becoming excited, and that's why gryffindor's students really got him going. He could feel the thrill of a challenge. Scaring a gryffindor always offered a fair challenge, this kitsune was no different. A living shadow, practically feeling the adrenaline. "You better not be teasing me here." The living shadow's grin only grew.

Felix knew this face, he had seen it before once. It was also a gryffindor that got him like this last time, and it wasn't pretty. He wasn't exactly sure how mentally durable McKenna was, but he didn't want that to be tested. "Okay McKenna,  you should calm down now," Felix grabbed her by the arm, "it's better not to provoke him when he's like this. Just sit down and wait. This class only lasts so long." Felix tugged her arm just to make sure she heard him.

McKenna let a snarl rip through her throat and she was about to let nemis have it when she heard Felix speak. She whipped her head around to face him and she frowned. She was never one to back down from a challenge, it went against her very nature, but it was Felix. She growled softly making her body vibrate and her ears twitched with agitation but she eventually sat back down against every fiber of her being. She just curled into Felix and hid her face in his arm, trying to calm down. She was still shaking. She took a few deep breaths but didn't say anything.

Adaria had been watching the whole scene from her seat in the very back right corner of the room and had found the whole thing especailly hilarious. She chuckled softly along with Mackenzie and then smirked at Athena who was just frowning. Abeline hadnt been paying attention to anything, which was typical for her. Adaria decided to speak up, "I find their methods amusing. Now if your done throwing a little fit, Rivers, can we get on with the lesson? If you would please continue, Professor." She said sweetly and gave their professor an innocent smile

Nemis shook his head as McKenna sat down, perhaps he was a bit too excited there. He decided to once again dissipate into the ground, as to calm the nerves that were about to over take him. Ralph quickly turned his attention to the back of the room, where he saw Adaria.

Ralph grinned at her compliments, though not for the reason one would think. "A boot licking teacher's pet, how cute." Ralph straightened his stance. "If you like my methods, I suppose I should change them." Ralph picked up a textbook from his desk. "Alright everyone, open your textbooks." Ralph smirked.

Lily was confused. Didnt he just say that they wouldnt be using the text books? "Professor, I thought we werent supposed to use the text books. i thought they lied." Lily believed anything she was told, especially by a professor. She bit her lip a bit nervous as to if he would attack her next or not. She didnt want that.

Ralph turned to Lily, and grinned with what she said. He knew what he said before, and would continue to exploit it. "Why yes, Lily Potter, He started to search through his book, "I did say they were lies. Though at Adaria's request, we will be learning from this. Don't worry though, I'll make sure to commonly retell segments in the book closer to the real event." Ralph continued looking for parts of history that would be fun to 'retell' to his class.

Lily frowned but just kept quiet. She didnt want to anger him in any way so she simply opened the book and began reading. She frowned a bit, none of the words she was reading sounded like lies.

Mckenna smiled a bit, happy they would actually be learning from the text book and smirked at Adaria, as her little innocent act had back fired on her. She still sat very close to Felix as she read.

Adaria glared a bit at both the professor and Mckenna but opened her text book none the less and waited for him to instruct them

Felix knew this would only be bad, this will be a really off lesson. At least McKenna seemed happy enough, though he noticed some of the other students were a salty from it. He himself wasn't sure what to think, yeah this short bit was nice. Ralph was quiet, and they could actually learn. Though he knew how this went, when they start to review bits of what they read, Ralph would become active again. Felix looked over at McKenna who seemed to be enjoying herself now, but he began to wonder what she would think when Ralph continued to "teach" them. "Just so you know," Felix said to McKenna, "you can still read the history book when ever. You may prefer that to his vocal teaching." Felix decided to take his textbook out of his desk and read himself for a little bit.

Mckenna turned to Felix and chuckled, "To be honest, love, I prefer anything to his methods of teaching. Id sooner learn from a monkey." She said as she began reading the text book, happy to actually be learning "If he so much as says one lie though, I am going to hex his balls off."

Azalea had been hiding in the back of the class this entire time, her eyes latched onto the strange professor and towards the students he so happily provoked and also noticed the ears poking from the top of McKenna's head. What a strange class...I wonder if I can get a transfer. She thought to herself, having much preferred the idea of a different class as it became evident that they were not going to learn anything and just listen to him talk and talk. She pulled out her notebook, tucking her knees up onto the chair and listened half-heartedly.
