stayin alive ((skylar))

After cleaning up his classroom following an impromptu jam session in his last class for the day, Reed decided to pop on over to the hospital wing to pay Skylar a little visit; he really enjoyed being around her, and he regretted that he wasn't able to spend a whole lot of time with her over the break. Now that they were back at work, maybe that could change. With some donuts he acquired earlier from the staff room, Reed smiled sheepishly waiting for Skylar to notice him. She always looked amazing doing what she did best: healing people.

Skylar was changing a students bandages from a burn that occured to due a potions accident when she felt someone's presence. She turned and saw Reed with a box of donuts and smiled, "You are very lucky today is my cheat day. And I will be very lucky if one of those is custard filled." She tied off the bandage and walked over to him and kissed his cheek, "How was your day?"

Chuckling, Reed could feel his stomach doing backflips the moment she noticed him. "Any day's a good day for donuts!" Cheat day? Pfft! There was no such thing as cheating when it came to donuts! He wrapped his arm around her shoulders to appear somewhat professional while in the presence of students. "My day's been good. My last class had this epic jam session with this insane drum solo with a soulful whistle note. I stood there the entire time wondering if the entire school could hear it!"

It would be so awesome if Skylar managed to hear even the smallest amount of it! "How was yours?"
