History:
Jacob was born in his father's castle in Rome, while his mother was under the care of the best healers in Europe. He grew up being raised by his mother, though they lived in the castle as his mother continued as the Queen's maid. He spent a lot of time with his younger brother, Blair, learning from private tutors and attending meetings when their father would allow it.

He went to Beauxbatons, where he studied hard so that when he left school he would be given a (much lower) title, like his brother's. He was knighted upon his graduation, and became one of his father's advisors. However, he eventually left Italy for France where he joined the French Court in order to serve the De Clermont family.

Since, he has spent much of his time travelling, usually on business for the French Royal family, or in order to visit his family where he still assists his father from time to time. He can be found almost anywhere in the Western World, but always returns France.

Family History:
Jacob's father is the King of Italy, while is mother was the lady's maid to the Queen. He was conceived and born before his father had any legitimate children, but a few years later he became an older brother. His father openly acknowledges his ongoing affair and his illegitimate son, but he remains in a functioning, though not necessarily happy, marriage with his Queen.
