wake up, shake up (cherry)

First topic message reminder :

Having been awake for a while now, Louis felt in relatively high spirits. He realised that everybody in the Hospital Wing, including him, had acted a little out-of-character; but he didn't know the full extent of it. There was only one thing that he recalled clearly, and that was his time spent in the broom closet with Cherry...

It was a fond memory, but he realised that their first time together may have been a little too rushed. Also, a lot of the things that he had done with her were things that he wouldn't immediately think of. He wondered where the ideas had came from, or whether he was just acting out of impulse. Something that he rarely did.

He glanced at his bed side. Someone had left a present for him. That was thoughtful of them. He didn't know who it was from, though: the label merely read: Get better soon!

Hopefully he hadn't hurt anybody. Hopefully everything was still the same between he and Cherry.

When they kissed, her heart was majorly fluttering. She loved it. Was this how it felt to be genuinely appreciated? Cherry smiled in awe and said, "You're welcome."

She gave him another kiss and a slightly tight embrace. The past few days have been quite the emotional whirlwind.

"I promise that I won't do anything more to hurt you, Cherry," He whispered in her ear, holding her against him. The male part of his brain went back to a few nights ago, where he had really felt her against him. He supposed, in some ways, those ways in which he behaved were things that he had desired, primitively. That still didn't explain the other girls though.

Stop thinking that, Louis.

"You're very special to me."

At least they could look forward to a new level to their relationship. They just kept getting closer and closer.

"I know." She smiled feeling extremely lucky. Cherry wouldn't have believed anybody months ago who'd tell her that she'd be dating Louis. She just wished he would stop beating himself up over something that he didn't even choose to do consciously. It was beyond his control, but ultimately, he seemed to know what he wanted deep down.

"I love you."

That was definitely more tender than the one night.

No, he didn't feel like it was too soon. It felt quite natural, really. His heart fluttered against his chest pleasantly, and he felt a surge of emotion sting in his eyes. It was happiness, of course, but he didn't let them fall. It was just very flattering. He was very lucky to have somebody care about him so deeply.

"I love you, too."

Drawing back briefly, he ran his fingers through her hair, smiling languidly. He kissed her again, brushing her hair gently back over her shoulders and stroking down her arm.
