I can't believe I'm willingly writing to you, but I need to tell somebody about the shit going down at school. Basically, there were some students who were sick all day then within a second, they all went wild. Strange, right? I haven't even gotten to the best parts yet.

Louis Weasley decided to become the biggest manwhore at Hogwarts. James Potter is sucking face with another bloke. There are burnt books being thrown everywhere. The Great Hall is in huge destruction! I'm hiding under a table writing this, so hopefully, I'll still be alive by the time you respond.

Is this some kind of elaborate joke? I'm trying to study for an important test I have coming up here.

If it was true, however, I expect they have merely drank a bad batch of Amortentia. I can't explain the burnt books being thrown about. How did they get burnt in the first place? I still find it really hard to believe this ridiculous story, but I suppose you hardly ever write to me.

Is anyone showing any signs of threat or violence, or is it all just teenagers throwing themselves at one another?

Thankfully, I am still with the living, but the faculty have no idea what to do, but they made sure no students aren't getting out. Right now it's mainly all gossip, but I can confirm I am unable to get into the astronomy tower as I could probably jump out of it and escape if it wouldn't kill me.

There's no specific trend from whatever conversations I've been able to eavesdrop, but I think it had to do with a certain class? I wouldn't be able to know that. I think they plan on getting the Ministry to intervene.

It still sounds like Amortentia to me. If that is the case, then it will all be fairly harmless. I expect the faculty are keeping you in one place so that they can differentiate between who had drank it and who hasn't. Just be respectful to the Professors, and keep your distance.

I'm surprised that they would involve the Ministry. They have far deeper concerns than a gaggle of demented teenagers.
