Alberich found it very peculiar that he had been asked to meet her in the Forbidden Forest. From what he understood, there was no Delilah Riddle on Hogwarts campus. In fact, he had no idea she was even around the Hogwarts area in general. What could she be doing in the Forbidden Forest?

He had no idea what to get her, even after their correspondence, so he hoped a simple necklace would suffice.

Entering the Forbidden Forest, he hoped that it wouldn't get too dangerous; he didn't want to miss a Christmas with his family.

Delilah had signed up for the secret santa as she was supposed to seem normal, as much as she could. When the person who got her reached out to her she told him to meet her in the forbidden forest, it didn't seem strange to her but she forgot that she wasn't actually on the roster as a professor.

At the time of the meeting Delilah dressed in a dark green hooded velvet cape, and was waiting for him to arrive when she finally sound someone coming, Delilah removed her hood and looked at the man approaching her.

"Alberich, I presume?" She asked lowly as she studied the man.

"Yes, miss." He pulled out the box trying to force a smile on his face. Something about this seemed off to him.

Alberich handed the box over to her. "Merry Christmas."

"If you don't mind answering, may I inquire as to why you're in the Forbidden Forest?"
