The first of many (Louis/open)

Carina was excited to finally be going on her date with Louis. She couldn't believe she almost didn't go because of stupid Faye Phiera. Of course Louis had feelings for her. That's why he asked her out. As they walked towards the bowling alley she didn't let go of his hand the entire time "I'm horrible at bowling. Youll probably beat me"

"I've never even tried it before," He admitted, thinking back to whether he did anything remotely like it. "I know the idea of it. I looked it up in the library under the muggle studies section. Apparently, Albus Dumbledore himself used to love bowling." So, really, it had to be good.

He would enjoy anything that they did. Even if they sat on the benches, munching on honeydukes sweets and just chatted; he'd feel comfortable just spending time alone with her. When they entered the bowling alley, Louis looked around the place. It was like nothing he'd ever seen before.

"Two please." He said to the assistant, and the assistant nodded, then waited. She sighed, explaining that they had to take their shoes off. "Oh, right. No shoes then..." Then, he got given another pair of shoes. Louis stared at them as the assistant said 'Lane six'. "Okay..." He looked a little puzzled now.

Carina had been bowling before so she knew the drill. She was just no good at it. She traded her shoes for the alley ones and went to lane 6. She put the shoes on before going to pick out her ball. She chose once of good weight for her in a light pink color "this one should do" she said mostly to herself before returning to the lane

Louis just followed Carina. She seemed to know what she was doing.

When be picked up the first ball, it was quite heavy. Thinking they were all the same weight, he decided to stick with it. How was Carina lifting this kind of weight? She was quite a slight girl, he was impressed by her strength...

"Roll it down the lane and hope to knock all of those pins over?" He asked, smiling.

Carina raised an eyebrow and took the ball from him "baby this one is gonna be way too heavy. It's a 15. You're more suited for a 12." She said handing him a ball with a black twelve on it. She nodded at his words " yep. Watch me" she said and rolled the ball down the lane and managed to knock down 4 of the pins

He put down the ball marked '15' and took the one Carina handed him. It was a little lighter, and more comfortable to actually throw down a lane. He watched her carefully, getting the general idea. When he took his spot at the front of the lane, he tried to concentrate as much as possible; but he didn't really know what he was concentrating on. This was clearly a skill kind of thing. Louis wouldn't say he was a skill kind of person.

He managed to take a few of them down, maybe three, but it didn't look like very many.

"I'm pretty sure you're better at this than I am," He told her, smirking.

"oh no I'm absolutely horrible. You'll get there" she said giving him a comforting smile. When the pins got set back up she took her next turn and managed to knock over 6 of the pins this time. She clapped her hands happily then rushed over to Louis "I got six!" She said with a wide smile as she took a seat and let him take his turn "you got this"

The more they played, Louis did get the hang of it... kind of. Carina was a lot better at it than she first revealed, and by the end of the game she had beaten him by a good amount of points. It had been good fun, but he was starting to get a little hungry by the end.

"Three broomsticks?" He suggested, "I like the sound of their mac n' cheese and butterbeers right now." Smiling, he took Carina's hand and gave it an affectionate squeeze. "Feel free to brag for the rest of the day as well." He reminded her brightly, meaning the outcome of the game. "Girl of many talents..." He kissed her cheek fondly.

Carina was shocked that she had actually won. She smiled when he held her hand and felt her cheeks heat up at the kiss "you did good too" she said kissing his cheek back " I'm really craving some chips right now" she said with a small laugh as she returned the shoes to get her own pair back "let's go"

"I was never very good at Quidditch either," He said, thinking of the occasions where he tried to play with his friends or relatives. "Or, really, flying in general." They made their way through the crowds towards the pub, and Louis found them a booth to sit at. He slid across the seats to the middle, wondering if Carina would choose the spot next to or opposite him.

"I never asked you what you wanted to do when you left Hogwarts," He said brightly, beaming, "But I suppose you have a few years to think about it yet. I think this year you'll probably sit down with your head of house and discuss career options. That's what I did in fifth-year."

Carina giggled as he spoke and slid into the spot beside him when they reached the pub "I want to be a healer" she said when he asked what she wanted to do after school "me and Mackenzie both. I plan to apply for the internship at St Mungos after my seventh year" she said with a proud smile

"Really?" He asked, excitedly, beaming. "That's what I hope to do! Or, that's what I'm trying to do. I wrote out a personal statement the other week and sent it off, so as soon as they confirm that's okay and my NEWT grades come through at the end of the year..."

He grinned.

"We could be working together in a few years' time." It was a nice thought.

Carina smiled widely and leaned against him resting her head on his shoulder "that's a nice thought. It would be fun to work with you" she said not able to keep the excitement out of her voice " is there any special field you want?"

Louis loved the scent of her right beside him. It was a floral sort of scent that reminded him of summer.

"It's going to sound a bit silly," He warned her, chuckling, "But I want to specialise in creature-induced injuries. That's the reason why I take care of magical creatures, as well as the other five. And cooking. And health classes."

It sounded like a lot. It was a lot. Hopefully it wouldn't be too stressful.

"My Dad was permanently scarred by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, and occasionally inhibits behaviours that are a little... wolfish. I suppose that's what made me want to go into it." That was the 'silly' part. He smiled apologetically. "What about you?"

"that's quite admirable" she said resting her hand on his thigh "I want to go into the long term spell damage division. My father had a great deal of crucios cast upon him in his days at school. He still suffers from extreme pain from it. I want to do research on if there's a way to relieve pain from the damage done to him. And I could help alot of people that suffered from the war as well" she said. She loved how they both got into their field for their fathers

Louis smiled, looking at her hand on his thigh, then back up to her again.

"You're a real Daddy's girl, aren't you?" He said fondly, sliding a piece of her hair behind her ear. "And a real sweetheart." He didn't understand why people didn't see that about Carina. He had heard others speaking about her, saying she was 'spoilt' and other things he didn't enjoy hearing.

He watched her very closely, his eyes languid and besotted.

"You just need to be kissed." He leaned forward and kissed her gently on the lips, sliding his arm around her neck. His kiss lingered a little, then ceased, and he was smiling at her. "Sorry." He murmured, chuckling a little.

"I am. My dad and I have a real special bond" she said smiling. When he kissed her she melted into him. Her hands found their way to his hair and she gripped it softly and kisses him back. When he pulled back she leaned back in and kissed him a bit harder "don't apologize" she said kissing him again. She nipped his bottom lip softly as she tangled her fingers in his hair "I've been waiting for you to do that all day"

Louis started to feel a little warmer as she urgently kissed him back, and pulled her fingers through his hair. He thought then that he wouldn't be able to stop kissing her. He inched closer to her, kissing her lips, moving hand hand from her shoulder to her waist; where he urged her body against his. He smiled at her languidly, kissing her cheeks and down to her neck...

"I'll... come back..."

The waitress began to turn away, awkwardly. Louis ceased kissing Carina, and chuckled a little. "Wait, it's okay... we'll order." Under the table, he stroked her leg affectionately. "What would you like?" He murmured to Carina, running his tongue over his lips.

Carina felt drunk from his kisses. She didn't want to stop. When she heard a voice in the back of her head she pulled away blushing a bit as the waitress stared at them. When Louis asked what she wanted she bit her bottom lip "just a burger and fries. Oh an a butter beer please" she shivered a bit at the touch on her leg and wanted more.

"Hmm... I think I'll have the same, actually."

Mac n' cheese had gone out the window, apparently. The waitress nodded and went away very quickly.

"I'd love to see you in a skirt or a dress one day," He said all of a sudden. He was looking at her leg covered with her jeans, and tried to imagine what her skin would feel like. He grinned brightly, laughing a little. "Well, I know you would look good in anything, really. You look great now." He added keenly, nuzzling into her neck.

"maybe I'll wear one for dinner. We could sit together." She said kissing his neck softly just above his collar bone. Her mind wandered with all the things they could do with her in a skirt. She blushed a bit and hid her face in his neck kissing and biting softly

"Carina..." He breathed, feeling the warmth glowing off his cheeks.

She was making him a little too excited.

"I'd like that..."

Her waist was good to hold. He liked the feel of its small curve in his arm. "You're driving me a little wild here..." He admitted, a little breathlessly.

Carina loved the way he said her name. "only a little? Then I'm not doing my job right." She said biting down on his collar bone a little hard. She rested her hand on his upper thigh and gave a light squeeze "my goal is to drive you absolutely insane" she said whispering in his ear

All of a sudden he felt annoyed that there were others sharing the space with them. It was unusual for him to be so selfish, but he was clearly very curious as to what would happen if they were alone. He didn't know if he could take any more of her touching him the way she was, and act as though everything was normal.

"Do you want to go somewhere with me, a little more private?" He asked gently, realising it was completely out of the blue.

Carina blushed a bit at his question but nodded "we could check out the shrieking shack" she said tracing a finger nail up and down his thigh. The idea of being alone with him made her excited and nervous at the same time. But she wanted it. She wanted to be alone with him and see what happened
