You can't be here (Louis)

Carina was exhausted. 15 hours of labor, but she did it. And she finally had her baby boy to show for it. He was so perfect. He has the same pouty lips as she did but smiled like his father. He had Jaromir hair but her eyes. He was the perfect combination do the two of them. It brought tears to her eyes. She missed him so much and she wanted him there more than anything. She kissed the top of her son's head and smiled, "I love you so much"

Louis still didn't know how he felt about Carina. He decided that, given the circumstances, he just had to treat her the same as any other patient.

It was some kind of cosmic joke that Louis happened to be spending a short session away from the classroom and at the hospital. By pure coincidence, he also happened to be going away with Cherry for a while the next day. It may upset her to know that he was there, with Carina and her new baby, so he decided not to say anything for the time being. He wasn't looking at his crystal anyway.

He approached her bed gingerly, smiling weakly.

"How is everything?" He asked.

Carina looked up when she heard someone enter the room. She went frozen for a few moments when she saw it was Louis. She hadn't seen much of him since the island. She hated that stupid island and everything it had stood for. Sometimes she even hated Mackenzie for what happened to Jaromir. She hesitated before looking up more and locking eyes with Louis, instant regret, "I'm doing ok. Just feeling a bit light headed." Though she had high doubt that was due to giving birth. "What are you doing here, Lou?"

"Light headed? It's likely exhaustion," He said, crossing the room and going to her bedside. She seemed to be bonding with the infant well enough, but he was still checking her over instinctively.

"You probably don't remember much while it was happening, but I was there during the birth," He explained, in that same 'friendly doctor' way that he'd used before. "You did very well."

Then he went quiet, and looked at the baby. It was difficult to tell at this stage, but there was a lot of dark hair. That made him think of Jaromir, and he frowned ever so slightly.

"You were there?" For some reason this enraged her. Louis Weasley, her ex boyfriend and first love, saw her son before his own father did? Jaromir could never know. He'd be furious and they'd be back on the fight about Louis train. She held her anger in though, and focused on her son to bring her a sense of peace and serenity. She smiled at him then looked back up at Louis, "Thank you. I'm honestly surprised it didn't go much much worse." She noticed the frown and realized he was looking at Olli, "His name is Olli. Oliver, actually. Oliver Dima Krol."
