Transfiguration Lesson 2: Desk Into Pig ((Hogwarts students))

Alberich was writing on the chalkboard the spell he was going to teach for class; he decided it would be a good time to try to teach a few more advanced spells due to the growing danger from Death Eaters. He wanted to make sure the students were prepared in case of an emergency situation, especially if any professors were incapacitated. Sighing, he rubbed some sweat off of his forehead nervous about how class was going to go. he found out the hard way that the students didn't necessarily match the prestige of Hogwarts. However, he wasn't going to give up and quit. The school needed him, and it was his responsibility to make sure that every student would have the knowledge to become successful adults. Ready for students, he opened the door and slid in the doorstop opting to wait at his desk.

Cernunnos entered class and heard Abeline taunt Cherry by using the word mudblood. He had been raised to not tolerate such hate by his father as his mother was a muggleborn herself. Approaching Abeline, he narrowed his eyes and slapped her hard in the face. "Fuck you!"

Abeline was in shock when Cernu slapped her. Her jaw dropped as she placed her hand where he had hit "You fucking little..." She said grabbing for her wand when Ashton stopped her "No no. Not worth it little one." He said looking down at her. The two whispered a bit in soft voices and Abeline whined wanting to take revenge "I promise you that Rhesus and I shall handle it later. We dont need your pretty little hands getting dirty now do we?" She then turned to the professor "And I am sure a punishment will be delivered for physical violence, right professor?"

"You think you're all tough and mighty because you like to bully muggleborn people, huh? Well, I'll tell you. You're fucking not!" Cernunnos screamed letting his emotions get to him. He got out a cigarette and lit it before taking a drag out of it. "In fact, you're a pathetic asshole for doing so. It's 2021! We're supposed to live in the future, but here you are taunting Cherry for something beyond her control! Muggleborns are people too." He took a deep breath. "You think all muggleborns come from rural towns, don't you? Fun fact: new blood actually brings more abilities in the pool. Why do you think so many pureblood families who only married within what they know always end up so insane? Inbreeding. I'd rather be muggleborn than an inbred fuckface!" He took another drag before holding his cigarette to the side yet again. Cernunnos then muttered something, unknowingly in parseltongue, to himself. "You guys think I'm pureblood, don't you? You thought wrong! My mom was a muggleborn!" Did he actually say that?

Cabra sat around listening to the conflict among his house. "Noisy, alright..." He yawned. He wasn't about to get involved, so he just set his goat doll and pillow on his desk and gazed off blankly for a little bit. He saw the goat doll begin to dance. Of course, it wasn't actually dancing. He watched it attentively, so much so, that the noise was blocked out around him and replaced with a music. He lied his head down on his pillow and began to doze off. He always kept this doll around, it helped him to sleep easy. The Slytherin house could be a little noisy with the upper years, he wasn't entirely sure if it was magic or not, but that didn't matter. Cabra had already fallen asleep.

Ezra could hear shouting from the distance coming from the classroom. He wasn't sure what to expect, and the boy rolled his eyes. Walking the boy let out a small sigh and entering the classroom, Ezra looked in shock. What the hell? Did he walk into the boy thought to himself as he didn't know what to say. But decided that he might as well say something, "What the hell is wrong with you people, I can hear your shouts from halfway down the hall."

Joey found himself distracted from his art at the sound of immense rage. Cernu's shouting and actions were a bit extreme, but perhaps it was the only way to get the girl's attention. She did miss his rocks for brains comment, so maybe that was the case. Then there was Cernu's rage. The angry ones sometimes make the most beautiful arts, and something about Cernu told Joey he had potential somewhere. Perhaps as a model? Either way, him being Muggleborn was by far the most interesting part. Of course, Joey could tell that the common slob would see it as something to insult. He kept quiet in part to avoid drawing attention to that. "Pureblooded simpletons," Joey mumbled to himself. "They lack the ability to see art. Meanwhile, I now have a beautiful form to analyze the artistic values of. I have an inspiration to make beauty that no fool can." Joey continued to watch until he noticed Cabra. That kid can appreciate art, then just fall asleep the next second? He is an interesting fellow, perhaps something to analyze another day. For now however...

Cherry dropped her jaw after she heard Abeline call her a mudblood. What was the nerve of these pureblood supremacists? She raised an eyebrow as she watched Cernunnos slap Abeline and yell at her. "Cernu, you sure all that was necessary?" Cherry asked unsure of how to feel about everything that had just happened.

Ashton held Abeline to his chest while the girl was still raging about the slap and how dare Cernu do that to her. He stroked her hair and tried to calm her all while looking at Rhesus with a look that said 'Leave it for now'. He knew Rhesus was protective of his house mates, especially the females. He just hoped his friend could control his temper for now. Meanwhile the professor still had not dished out a punishment "Professor? Are you just gonna let him slap her and not get a punishment?"

He stood in shock at everything that had just happened. How was he going to regain his composure to teach? Alberich thought the people of Hogwarts had moved beyond the muggleborn hate, but it seemed as if they haven't. He was quite glad his nephew defended Cherry, but he felt as if he could've done so in a much more civilized manner. One thing that surprised him the mos was that his nephew wasn't pureblood; it was something he didn't expect from his brother. What was he going to do? He didn't want to give blanket detentions;, but he wanted to punish as appropriate. "At the end of class, I will talk to each of you and discipline as appropriate."

Abeline was furious "Are you serious? Hes your family member. The most he will get is a tap on the wrist meanwhile I have a bloody red mark on my face!" She shouted getting angrier by the second. Ashton was having a tough time trying to calm her down and looked at the other Slytherins desperately for help. He sighed when Abeline turned and glared at Cernu "I demand an apology."

Felix had accidentally over slept again, so he rushed over to his transfiguration class. He loved his sleep time, but he needed to pass his classes. He sprinted down the hall realizing just how much class he had missed. Time was becoming of the essence after all. He ran up to the door hearing some bickering on the other side, even that everyone was getting some punishment in the class. As Felix walked in he heard Abeline arguing with the teacher and tilted his head looking around at the mess of a class. "Did I miss something?" Felix daftly asked.

Ralph had been walking around the halls looking to get some dirt for some social mud slinging fun. He stuck around outside of Alberich's room as his fellow professor always had to keep some composure, it was great fun to test it. Even luckier for Ralph, the class was digging itself a grave. He managed to hide from those who came in late due to Nemis's powers, but this was turning into an exuberant event. Ralph decided at the point of Felix walking in late to join in on the fun. He stepped out of Nemis's shroud and Nemis returned to his normal form. Ralph nodded at Nemis who chuckled and walked over to the door.

Joey was finished with the small details on his sculpture and was curious if Alberich would be mad it was a sculpture and not a living pig. Joey had the strongest hopes that this would suffice. Creating living creatures was an... exhausting task. There was a lot that was testing Alberich's patience, but to make matter's worse, the unbelievable happened. The door was kicked down and in came Ralph and Nemis. "Power!" Nemis shouted to announce their presence in class. "Sorry about the door, we couldn't help ourselves," Ralph apologized to Alberich, though only for the door. "Anyway, those insults? They were shit, get good then try again. Making fun of one's size and accent is overdone. Seriously, you're Slytherins! The best insults are specific and petty as hell. Overthink it next time." Ralph had walked around towards the front of class. "Also, you're getting some extra credit Cernu. Such a bold move earns my respect." Meanwhile, Cabra was still asleep at his desk through this.

"How is him physically assaulting a student a good thing!?" Abeline screeched as she felt super ignored and her cheek still stung. "This is fucking bull shit." She screamed at the entire room until Ashton before going to lunge at Cernu. However, before she could Ashton grabbed her by the waist and carried her away from him back over to where Rhesus was. He sat her down and looked her in the eye "Stay."

"Yes, Cherry, it is. You're dating my brother after all!" Cernunnos replied before focusing his attention back on Abeline. "No apologies to you! You deserved it! You used a despicable word!" He crossed his arms and looked away. "Narks is going to be so fucking pissed at you when he finds out, so don't be surprised if he does anything when he returns in March."

"I dont give a flying rats ass about Narks." Abeline spat back at him. Ashton shook his head on the verge of giving up. When Abeline got this pissed there was no calming her down "Dude just apoloigize. You hit a girl. Thats not ok."

Rhesus watched as everything happened so fast and if he had to be honest, the Slytherin was lost for words. He kept his mouth shut, but once he saw Cernu slap Abeline, it ticked him off. The teacher just told them that he would decide an appropriate punishment and he shouted. "You half-bloods and muggle-borns, can't even fight right. Weren't you taught the proper manners on how you treat girls?"

Abeline was about to shout more when she heard Rhesus speak. She looked over and smiled a bit when she saw that he was indeed standing up for her. Ashton let out a breath of relief, happy he wasnt the only one standing up for Abeline anymore.

Apollo growled lowly as he walked in at the end of the argument he could tell Cherry was upset and he did not like that. She was after all the one he loved and cared about. He did not care how much trouble he would be in. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!" He demanded as he looked around at them.

Anger was radiating off of him. He did not want to but he was ready to start a fight. In Cherry's honor even though he had no idea what was going on. His eyes turned to the three that seemed to be making the most noise other than his brother. "You three better not of been making fun of my Cherry." He said as his eyes flashed at them. He was so done pretending that he was weak. He was far from it he knew things that they would dream to know.

Abeline looked over and laughed "Look at this brother. The brave man that ventured over the fat rolls of Darling is here to defend his lady, if thats what she qualifies as." She said looking over at Ashton. Abeline was feeling a bit more sparkful now that Rhesus had joined in. She sighed and flipped her hair over her shoulder "The barely Slytherin. His bite isnt poisonous enough to be classified as a snake, dont you agree Carrow?" She asked looking over at her brothers best friend before standing up. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared over at Apollo "What if we were? What are you gonna do about it? Mudblood lover."

"So, I'm a mudblood. You really think that's going to stop me from getting laid? I understand, you're probably jealous of me for whatever reason. Either that or you just hate me because of your backward families. Maybe both." Cherry honestly wished she could just retreat at the moment, but she couldn't just do that as she was stuck between it all. She was quite glad that most of her classmates seemed to be sticking up to her. Cherry found herself most surprised when Ralph and Nemis had made an appearance. Hearing Apollo's voice, she looked towards him. Cherry had no clue what exactly he would do as she only knew so much about him, but she felt as if her bullies should be quite glad the perfect of their house was in the hospital or else.

"Why would I even be remotely jealous of you? Because of all the excess square footage? Or because your so hideous that it hurts to look at you? Or maybe its the southern hick swamp american accent. Right. That must be it. Not. I get more action in a single night than you do in a month. I mean look at me. Tiny, skinny, beautiful, pureblood. Whats not to want?" She said disregarding the fact that her big brother was there. She narrowed her eyes at the Ravenclaw "Im not afraid of them. Not the slightest bit."

Cherry raised an eyebrow listening to Abeline. "I'm honestly not bothered by my weight. It's quite sad when you have to put down others out of your own insecurities, isn't it?" She was doubtful that she was going to be heard out, but it didn't hurt to try. "There's also more to a relationship than physical attraction and fucking unless it's purely sexual. What about the bonding? The love? Oh, yeah, not many Slytherins know what love is like. I've had more within a span of a single day, not just nights. Your point being?"

"We know what love is. We know about loyalty and protecting our own. We know about fighting to protect each other. WHat about you little birds. Probably too scared to pick up a wand to defend someone that isnt yourself." She said glaring at Cherry "Were a family. A pureblood family." She turned to Ashton and Rhesus, her brother and his best friend, the two most important boys in her life "So dont you DARE try and lecture me about love."

"I was referring to romantic love, but you probably don't know what that is," Cherry commented. Why were a lot of Slytherins with some sort of superiority complex? "Little birds? Ravens are symbolic of wisdom and intelligence. They also used to be thought of superstitiously representing bad luck, death, and other macabre topics. In some indigenous cultures, a raven created the world."

"Youre still a little bird. With no chance against a snake. A serpent." Abeline said as fire danced across her eyes. There was no going back> She had gone full dark mode. She chuckled a bit and smiled at the girl "Thats adorable. TO think youre better than us. Do you know what Slytherin house represents? We represent resourcefulness, self preservation, cunning, ambition, determination and cleverness."
