- Leythan is a new teacher to Hogwarts faculty, and will be instructing the students - of all ages - how to ballroom dance at formal events. As his class is only taken once a fortnight, the rest of his time will be teaching students in the extra curricular subject of magical needlework, where they can learn how to craft garments or homeware from a range of special textiles. He taught his younger brother Comarth his skills too.
- He is a devoted designer and maker for Gladrags Clothing, but has given up his time this year at the request of Professor Riddle.
- As with Comarth and his other brother, Leythan has a betrothed that he will have to marry fairly soon. That doesn't stop his eyes from wandering and making lewd comments here and there, but he isn't a complete scoundrel?
