Dad said she could go to the dance at Hogwarts, as long as she wore something a little more appropriate for it. Well, at least she was wearing underwear that wasn't just string. The white stockings were on, of course. A pleated skirt. Her top actually covered her bust, but not much of her stomach.

"Hmm... Where's Louis?"

She stood against the wall, scanning the area. If she couldn't play with him, perhaps she could find a Professor to flirt with...

Camille was overjoyed to see so many students enjoy the dance! She was happy that she and the rest of the staff followed through with having one of these to treat Hogwarts with a night of fun before quidditch season. There were some notable absences, but she figured that they might've had some schoolwork to do. It was better to be on top of assignments as she was likely to throw another dance later in the year!

In the distance, she noticed a recent graduate, and she smiled. The Riddle children were so well-behaved; although they had their quirks, she was grateful that they didn't seem to be following their ancestor's infamous legacy. "Hello, Matilda!" Camille exclaimed as she approached her. "Aren't you a bit chilly in that?" It must've followed the dress code if she was allowed in with all that skin showing!

"Oh, hello Professor Voclain!"

She giggled softly behind her hand.

"You say the silliest things sometimes. Of course I'm not chilly in it, although I always am on the look out for a good way to keep warm..." She eyed around at some of the other Professors. Ooft.

"Are you going to ask my Dad for a dance? You know he'd like that, don't you?" She giggled.

"I'm glad to hear that you aren't chilly!" Camille smiled at Matilda wondering if all of the talking in the gym generated enough heat to counteract the chilliness. That might just be the case! It happened all the time during feasts. She looked over at Lochlan; her colleague looked very sharp as usual! "I could! I'm sure there's a whole list of women lined up to dance with him!"

He was charming and excellent at his job; she couldn't have a better deputy head to work with!

"Is there anyone here you want to dance with?"

She was oblivious to some of the more sultry displays of dancing going on in areas of the gym.

Matilda felt herself flush in delight. The same thing happened when she made a speech at school: she'd be sitting there on the Slytherin table, and suddenly feel a heat come over her. It wasn't unusual for Matilda to feel that way, but over a Headmistress's speech was a bit out there...

"Well..."

She leaned forward to her with a lively smile: the type her Dad sometimes wore.

"I'd like to dance with you!"

Camille adored just how sweet Lochlan's children were! Matilda seemed to be especially prone to niceties which warmed her heart; she couldn't totally understand why some people complained about her too much. Sure, she was overt in a lot of ways, but who wouldn't appreciate such crystal clear communication?

"Let's dance then!"

She reached out her arm for Matilda to take.
