Just like you (Jaromir)

Carina decided, much against the opposition of her father, that she was going to take Oliver to see Jaromir on her next visit. She had done her research and learned that they had. Special area they could meet in. The guards might even let Jaromir hold Olli. When she arrived at Azkaban, she kept ollis face hidden so he wouldn't see all the crazy before they were lead to a large white room. It was clean by the looks of it, and there was no glass that could separate her from Jaromir. Explains why they took her wand from her. She sat at the single table and waited for the guards to bring jaro. As she sat, Olli started to get fussy. She rocked him gently, whispering in his ear, "Shhhh. It's ok, baby boy. Daddy will be here soon."

When he’d first learnt of Carina’s pregnancy, Jaromir felt he was entering turbulent waters. Even now, he still had concerns of whether he was going to be a decent Father being behind bars, or whether he deserved to be acknowledged as a Father. When it came to finally meeting his son, he was overcome with an anxiety he’d never felt before. Going up against the deadliest, most gruesome vampires had been a walk in the park compared to this.

They kept their hold on him until he got through to the room. He hadn’t been informed of the different setting beforehand, so he was quite surprised to be released into an unfamiliar room where he could roam free. Once he was over that initial shock, however, he saw what was waiting for him.

Carina was there, and she was cradling a bundle. Some nonsensical need came over him, and he immediately rushed to her side. He knelt down in front of her and looked at his child. “Moj syn... Karina...”

Before now, he’d felt no hope for getting out of Azkaban. He had made peace with his fate, and got through his days believing he deserved the punishment. Now, seeing his son, he felt desperation to be constantly by his side. He had a duty, and a reason to be free. His eyes watered as he put his finger to his son’s tiny hand, and was overcome with feeling he’d never felt before.

Carina looked up when she heard the door open and the need to rush over to Jaromir was almost overwhelming. But then, he was beside her, obviously absorbed by seeing their son. It brought tears to her eyes, seeing him meet Oliver for the first time.

Still holding him, she reached a hand out to stroke Jaromirs hair, "He got your hair color that's for sure. A dark haired Malfoy is a rare occasion." She wanted nothing more than to grab him and run. Run as far as they needed to to get away and just be together. But she knew that was impossible.

"I've missed you so much." She said, trying to hide the shakiness of her voice from her tears, "You want to hold him?" She asked, as she watched the two of them.
