Narissa tends to be rather pessimistic about various parts of life which one could attribute to attending Durmstrang. She tends to partake in various activities that involve the arts such as painting and participating in various one-at plays during her breaks from school. Her strongest subject would be battle strategy while her weakest would be dark arts although she's able to send out a few hexes if provoked enough. Narissa isn't a fan of immature people and isn't really that into boys unless she likes them enough to be a friend. Narissa was born as the only child of Jerry and Marissa Queen. Despite being an only child, she was never that spoiled and was treated just like any other kid her age was. It was rather hard for her to really fit in once she began to attend preschool due to her family not always having been in Estonia, so she had a harder time with her Estonian as her parents often spoke either French or English in the house. That made it difficult to make any friends to play toys with although she began to gain some once she began to find more of a place at the school. While her peers were starting to get into whoever was the most popular act whether it was a cheesy boy band or what, Narissa found herself gaining an appreciation for the arts.

When she turned 11, she had gotten a letter to go to Durmstrang as it was the closest school to where she lived. Her parents were hoping to enroll her to Beauxbatons, but distance was too much of a concern, and they couldn't really afford to send her all the way to France every time break ends. On her first day there, Narissa was sorted into Slange, and her parents didn't really care about it as they weren't familiar with the houses there compared to the school they had gone to. She actually found it more relatively easier to fit in at Durmstrang compared to the schools she had went to as a young child; it became a second home to her. Within her third year there, she had come to the realization that she had no real interest in boys. It took her some courage to tell her parents, but they accepted and loved her for who she is. As she starts to ease into her final years there, Narissa had recently began to wonder where life will take her.


Her parents were originally from France and had fallen in love after being neighbors their whole life. Both sides traditionally married into other Pureblood families causing them to have some very distant cousins. Before Narissa was born, they decided to move to Estonia as a way to be able to explore a part of Europe they haven't been to yet.
