"How did you know I was working in the library?" Indigo asked, brushing back his hair.

Louis beamed at him. "I wrote to the university, asking them to send me some information about their campus. That's when I saw the photos of the library, and knew at once that Cherry would like to see it too. They had your name written on 'current student volunteers', so I thought I would ask you. You won't get in trouble for this, will you?"

"As long as you don't leave it in a mess, no." Indigo seemed a little disappointed by his response, for some reason.

"We won't. Thanks again, Indigo."

Indigo blushed, but Louis hadn't seemed to have noticed. Saying that he would return in a few hours with Cherry, Louis got to work. The library was much vaster, and more impressive than what they had at Hogwarts. Shelves upon shelves of books were stacked sky-high, and magically extending ladders allowed students to browse the upper levels. Louis set some candles to float around the space, and set out a rug in the centre of the floor. On the rug was a selection of nibbles, and some wine.

He wanted the atmosphere to be just right.

Louis had merely told Cherry about Indigo side-apparating her to this location. She still didn't know what it would be. He hoped she would like it.

Louis shook his head, smiling.

"What is that?" He asked, interested.

She could share some knowledge with him! That was making Cherry excited.

"Mesopotamia is one of the earliest civilizations on Earth. If you were to look on a globe or a map, it would be located in the modern-day Middle East. If I remember correctly, somewhere around Turkey, Iraq, Syria. That general area."

"Oh, I see. I wonder what people were like back then, and if there were wizards that far back," He said, wrapping his arms around Cherry's waist from behind and cuddling her. "History of magic wasn't my strongest subject. I used to get very confused with all the dates."

It was also a subject he didn't pursue into NEWT level.

"I wonder what subjects at muggle school I would have been good at. What do you think?" He asked, beaming.

"Err, I've never been to muggle school... Until it was discovered that I have magic, I've been homeschooled."

She couldn't really tell him subjects she thinks he'd be good at.

"Oh," He said, putting two and two together. "How about maths? Do you think I'd be good at maths?"

He chuckled slightly. That was one muggle subject he'd heard of. Wizards knew basic mathematics anyway: such as adding up weights of things, or knowing how many sickles went into the galleon.

"I heard that wizards set things into the ground so that muggles dug them up, and thought them historically relevant," He said, chuckling.

"I need to learn more about math myself. Erm, my parents never taught me algebra. I couldn't tell you a thing about Trigonometry."

She was very sheltered when she was homeschooled.

Cherry chuckled at the thought. How interesting. "There are shows claiming that aliens helped build the pyramids."
