it's what it is (james)

First topic message reminder :

Someone incredibly resourceful had instigated a common room party for the end of term, and so far it was in full swing. It wasn't too late into the evening yet, but the music was playing and the drinks were flowing: disguised as something very similar-looking to pumpkin juice. It was probably only a matter of time until the Professors found out and came to break it up, but Niall was going to enjoy it while it lasted.

Niall didn't really want to drink the alcohol. He'd rather not spend the first six weeks of the new term sat in detention. So, he stuck with elderberry nectar. It was kind of a middle-aged woman's drink, but he liked it.

"So ye homo then, aye?" He said to James Potter, without bothering to sugar-coat it.

James chuckled at the last comment. Might as well try to make the best out of what had transpired.

"I don't know, I heard that he wanted to hex me."

"Everyone's wanted to hex ye at some point, so they have."

It was kind of nice seeing this side of James. A vulnerable side. He thought he was all pranks and fart jokes.

He kissed him gently on the lips.

"Which lads d'ye wish were fags here?" He asked, chuckling. "I like that wee blonde in yers dorm. Faolan? Shame he's feckin' Irish."

He wrapped his arm around Niall's rear feeling quite comforted.

"I, uh, never really thought of that with how in the closet I was..."

What was the issue with being Irish though?

They were from two completely different walks of life.

"Can I just..." He squeezed his bottom. Yep - it was nice. He moved closer to James, and clearly had half of something happening. Yeah, so he was a pervert.

"Sorry, ye just a wee bit distractin'." He admitted. "But I got it. Dad's famous, lots of crap to deal with. Oh Jesus you are fit aren' ye?" He moved to snog his face off again.

James flushed red and then ended up laughing. "Quite cute of you."

"I guess you can say that I won the genetic lottery..."

Then they were back to making out. He had a feeling this was probably going to last all night.
