it's a sunshine day ((potter-weasley kids))

Hermione had gotten lucky with the day she had chosen for a family picnic; the rare rays of the sun shone upon the grounds of Hogwarts which oddly complemented the dying leaves on the trees around them. She had set up a spot near the lake for her and her relatives to spend some time while it was the weekend. Food was provided by the house elves, who she still felt awfully sorry for, and Molly for nourishment.

She was so glad she and Rose had come up with such an idea as it allowed for some nice quality time before school got too crazy.

Rose was glad to be able to have helped plan out the picnic with all of her siblings and her mother. It seemed like it had been so long since they had gotten together and she missed her time with them. She was also happy that it was still warm enough out that they could gather down by the lake without being chilly.

When she arrived, she saw that her mother was already there and had already set all of the things up for the picnic. She hugged her mother as she made it up to her. "I'm so excited to see everyone."

Hugo ran after his sister trying very hard to listen to his Monkees tape. Why did nobody tell him that Walkmans and Hogwarts don't go together?!

Of course, despite all the snacks this picnic would have, he had a gumball in his mouth. He loved gumballs a bit too much.

"Hiiiiii, mummy! Hiiii, sissy!"

Feeling a little bit of the stress already this year, Louis was glad to have an excuse to unwind. He hadn't seen much of his cousins or his Aunt so far, having been to preoccupied with Head duties and assignments. The idea of a picnic sounded amazing, so he took to the grounds with a spare blanket under his arm. If it wasn't used to sit on, it could be used if it got cold.

Approaching to the spot, he held his arm up and waved to them.

"Hello everyone," He said warmly, taking a seat nearby his Aunt. "Sorry that I hadn't seen too much of you all last month."

James decided to follow after Louis when it came to this picnic thing; whatever, it got him outside for a while at least.

"He didn't see too much of you guys because he got himself a new mouth date. Did grandmum send some cookies?!"

Hermione smiled at her children who had arrived first. "Hello, Rosie!" she greeted as she received a hug from her. It was so nice to see them more often!

"Hugo! Are you enjoying school, sweetie?" she asked as she pulled out one of the cookies Molly had made. "I know this is your favorite!"

Her grin grew warmer seeing Louis. "Oh, it's okay! I'm sure you must be busy as Head Boy!" Hermione's expression turned slightly worried as she heard James' comment. "Is that true?"

When James appeared on the scene and announced what he did, Louis chuckled nervously. He made a thing of getting a drink and pouring it into one of the cups.

"Hello, James," He said, pleasantly enough.

Louis looked at his Aunt. "Cherry and I are dating," She told her, with a smile.

"You are!" Her countenance returned to a warm smile feeling relieved that it wasn't his previous girlfriend; she found Carina to be too haughty for him. "Will we be able to meet her one day?"
