Kodi is a man who lives on charm, greed, and getting revenge on those who wronged him. He is someone who takes the side whoever wins and will give him whatever.  Although to those he cares about Kodi can be loyal and does not mind being loyal once one learns to look past his many faults.

As greedy and charming he is, Kodi is a man who cares about loyalty, and is deep down in need of answers despite being old. Smart and knowing how to survive by himself. As well as due to being around for years.

He has a love for wanting revenge. And is currently trying to make sure everyone who broke deals with him and anyone who portrays him. Has something coming for them.


Kodi is the product of an affair between an emperor and priestess in ancient times. Due to this his entire childhood been being raised as a bastard of a woman who sinned. Despite his mother use of magic and from a young age Kodi knew that he was magical. As well that his father did not want him in the slightest and how if he dared go near the castle, the boy would find himself rotting in a dungeon. Yet his mother had two more kids with this emperor who Kodi would learn had cared a lot about Kodi but due to his oath and heritage, the man could not show love for his bastards.

When Kodi had been growing up and reached the age where he could yield magic on his own   the male was homeschooled by the priest who taught him and his siblings various types of magic. And unlike his siblings, learning was something that Kodi never found much interest in and did his best to avoid it. Although as he grew older this would change and when books became known, Kodi would become quite the reader and would be his influence for sparking his love for making deals after reading stories of demons and other types.

Once Kodi was old enough, he had went to apprentice with a smuggler who had an affair with his mother and was the closest thing Kodi ever had to an father. This man had taken him in and for most of his late teens and early adulthood was spent traveling and it was where he had learned about other wizarding cultures and where he got his very first wand despite his mom teaching him wandless and verbal magic that he learned. And wielding a wand would end up being something that Kodi had preferred and wanted despite his father hate.

Returning back to his village at the age of 27, his life would soon be changed. Because two months after returning home. His village was attacked by vampires and alongside his siblings, Kodi had been turned by a vampire who had a strong bloodlust. After going into a sleep for two days, Kodi woke to learn that his mother had survived and for the past two days had been trying to learn ways for his kids to be able survive being in the sunlight. And after four months of hiding out, his mother had managed to charm various pieces of jewelry with a charm that let them survive the sunlight and Kodi had gotten a ring and necklace that he holds dear to this day.

After giving her children, jewelry she had sent them away because she knew the little community was being hunted down by people who despised supernaturals. It would be the last time that Kodi would ever see his mother because two months after he left, the man who was his mentor killed her. Leaving Kodi wanting to get revenge on him. A revenge that would take centuries to solve.

For the next several years, Kodi had been on the run with his brother and after years of running. The pair had soon found the vampire council and would sought shelter there. And after two hundred years, Kodi found himself sitting on the council. And as years past would prove to be a burden as the male had sought to find revenge on the vampires who attacked his village and the man who killed his mom. It was when books came out, Kodi found himself reading and developing a love for making deals after reading up about demons. Leading him to one day encountering a demon who had proven to be his worst enemy.

Now after thousands of years, Kodi is plotting revenge on his enemies. And still trying to find the vampires who turned him and had learned from a demon that the man who killed his mom had still been out there. And was also trying to find Kodi, who plans on killing him. And the advancements in years had left Kodi annoyed and isn’t one for modern technology, but using it to find the rest of his siblings despite his brother not wanting it.

And has heard from a seer that his mother is still alive and hopes to one day reunite with his family while making deals in the process. Which have left him dancing with those that he shouldn’t.
