beach bum (open)

Okay - so he could certainly see the attraction of this place, as a resort, a vacation area, a holiday away from home, et cetera. But living in a place like this only meant one thing: you were assuming that sunshine breakfasts and ample exotic fruits would be widely available to you on minimum wage. This was where the real corporate crows came to peck before they buggered off and had the washed-out workers pick up after them.

Indigo sighed, and stretched out on his sun lounger. He thought he could look good with a slight tan. He wasn't going to go overboard though.

Autumn had been doing some traveling for the weekend, because she needed an escape. She trusted that Maddie had the house and she’d trust her. So she had been thinking about getting a nice tan and maybe party for a bit. So she had found herself on the new the beach glasses and everything. The girl was excited and saw someone giving a smirk she smiled, “Mind if I join you?” she asked.

The sound of the waves lapping to shore was very relaxing. Even the distant shouts and cries and jeers was somewhat comforting to him, but only because they were in the distance. Then, a shadow went over him. He opened his eyes.

He looked at this young woman. He couldn't really fault her. She was very good-looking, so he supposed they were in a similar league there.

"If you like," He said, taking his towel off the lounger next to him. "Is it your first time here?" He asked.

When Autumn saw the guy look up she gave a smile at his response and turned as she watched him throw a blanket down. The lady went over and placed her things down, and took off her overcoat she had over her swimsuit. Taking a seat she on the towel she had looked up at the male giving him a smile, “Thank you so much. And it’s not I come here every couple weeks or when I’m free. I needed an escape anyway so I got my little sister running the joint.” she chuckled, “How about yourself?” she added.

"And what 'joint' is this?" He asked, not knowing if she was talking about her home or her place of work.

Indigo stretched back on the lounger. He had to admit that his body wasn't in the best form that it could have been. There were a lot of men on the beach that were more muscular than he was. In comparison, he was quite slender.

"My first time, but probably not my last," He admitted, "I see the attraction of this place, but I don't know why anyone would want to work here unless they were thick and couldn't get anywhere else in life." Of course, he was talking about his brother there. His brother wasn't thick, he was just stupid.

Autumn had always found Bleakrock, a place that was definitely interesting. Giving the man a smile about her joint, “My flat, she lives with me and so does her daughter. So she had given a promise that she’d take care of it. Do you have any siblings?” she asked giving him a look hoping for an answer.

“Oh you never been here before? That’s crazy the place is definitely interesting.” she said shocked, the place has been around. Then again she supposed others haven’t ventured out of London much. A little taken aback by his response, Autumn said, “Have you ever had a thought of people liking a slow paste life. I mean this is certainly a last resort for me. But I don’t think otherwise of those who want to work here. The tourist business makes a lot of money, and you can impact people.” she said with a smile. She thought of working in hospitality, but liked her ministry job better.
