Siblings gossip (melanthius)

Cecelia had sent a message to thius to meet her at the three broomsticks. She needed someone to confide In about her feelings towards saburo. She had told Bellona but she was so wrapped up in thius that it didn't really phase her too much. Maybe if she also told thius she could maybe get some real help or advice. She sat in a booth as she waited for her brother to arrive and ordered herself a Butterbeer in the mean time.

Thius' mind had been awfully scattered; sure, he won the duel against Estrada, but that wasn't gratifying. That result wasn't a surprise to him either, he was just so easy to defeat from what he observed in class. However, that didn't stop that mudblood from acting so righteous, but he couldn't just take away points as Riddle might think of it as a mess to clean up. Instead, he was holding back many, many things, and it felt as if he could burst at any moment.

All of the fears that haunt him, the fears he only confided to his girlfriend. Questions on if his family really were right about what is and isn't moral. Perhaps that maybe he is in more control than he grew up thinking. Of course, he was also thinking a lot about sex, and it was intensifying a lot since he had his sudden, last growth spurt that now made him the tallest of his siblings. Ever since Ptolemy advised him to not wait until marriage.

And now he was on his way to meet up and have some sort of discussion with his sister. Things have calmed down since the summer holidays, but Thius was still afraid that things weren't perfect between them.

Many images and words raced through his mind as he walked into the Three Broomsticks and sat across his sister in a booth. "Good afternoon, sister," he greeted. "What do you want to talk about?"

Cecelia smiled when she saw her brother, "Hello thius. I just wanted to talk about something that had been on my mind alot lately. Well.... more of someone. I tried talking to Bella but didn't get anywhere really. I was hoping maybe I could talk to you about it?" She bit her lip as she looked across the table at him.

"Well, what is it then?"

If it was something she originally went to Bellona about, it definitely wasn't for Hector's ears. That's what Thius was assuming anyway. He rested his arms on the table.

"Would it make our brother blush?"

Cecelia was about to speak hen his comment turned her own face red, "Oh it most certainly would. I have been thinking about.... saburo quite alot." She looked at him to see if she could get some kind of read on him, "Is it inappropriate to fancy my brothers fiances brother?"

"You asked me to come here for something I already knew?"

He couldn't feign any hint of surprise. Thius could tell she had an interest in Saburo when the Tokugawas came over for dinner over the summer holiday.

"I'm courting one of your friends," he reminded her before adding, "Therefore, I don't think it's considered inappropriate."

If being into someone who was a sibling's fiancee's brother was considered taboo, there'd be nobody to date within the pureblood community.

He waved a waiter over and ordered pumpkin juice and a shot of firewhiskey. At least that'd help him figure out what kind of alcohol to get for his and his girlfriend's birthdays next month.

"Speaking of Bellona, I'd like your input on the gifts I plan on giving her for her birthday. Can I trust you to stay quiet about it for the next month?"

Cecelia nodded and sighed, "He's just so different from the boys here. He's like.... porcelain. I want to get to know him. He seems so mysterious and interesting. And that hair. I just wanna play with it-" She cut herself off realizing what she was saying. She was immediately greatful for the slight topic change and nodded, "Of course. I won't say a word."

Thius blinked, almost internally relieved that his sister still retained much of her innocence despite what happened over the summer. He wouldn't have to worry about her getting disowned anytime soon... "Well, sister, I'm glad your interest is for a boy that is better than Malfoy."

If his family could read his mind, he would've been left with the clothes on his back a while ago.

"Excellent!" Opening up his bookbag, Thius dug through it until he found a parchment that featured the choker he sketched, handing it to his sister. "Other than the choker that'll be custom made for my lady, I plan on giving her a dragonscale jacket, made by Comarth, that supposedly wards off most spells and a-"

Perhaps the last gift would be too embarrassing to admit to his sister.

"An accessory."
