Even though the Honeydukes Trolley has yet to make its rounds up and down the Hogwarts Express, the lunch carriage was already open for the train's passengers to access for any light meals or snacks. It also provided another space to use the restroom during the long ride back to Hogwarts. Behind a counter was an older man reading a mystery muggle novel as he waited for any student or professor to come by and order something to eat.
