His mind and body were going through a whirlwind of emotions as he and Bellona were being directed to their table. His heart still raced in excitement, one area was able to calm down now that they were in public public, a part of his mind was nervous because of his siblings who'd definitely snitch on him. But most of all? Thius felt warm and gratified without lifting much of a finger; he did something bad and she punished him for it! He was reprimanded for being a bad boy! Now he was doing whatever she desired or demanded to make up for it. It was like one of his fantasies had come to life!

It was amazing, really bloody amazing. He couldn't be convinced that they were behaving inappropriately. She couldn't get pregnant from a snog. A snog and a one-sided pillow fight couldn't demean the family. What was there for Hector to worry and nag about? What was there for Cece to blabber to mother about? Absolutely nothing. That was his reasoning and justification. He really shouldn't have tested the potion, but it was going to happen eventually anyway, wasn't it?

As the restaurant was decently sparse that night, it was easier for them to get a table that wouldn't be in the earshot of the other patrons. Yes, this was good, very good.

Thius' cheeks flushed a cherry red as he pulled out one of the chairs for Bellona to sit in. "Ladies first," he stated softly.

They were clearly thinking along the same lines as she said: "Yes, but I doubt he would agree to such a thing."

Bellona tapped her almond-pointed nails on the tabletop, feeling her mouth watering whenever a server approached and dove off to another table. It was always excruciating to have to wait for something that you definitely wanted now!

"Hmm, I can't say I know enough about it. Perhaps only Selwyn was affected, as he was the closest to her at the time? Or he really is attracted to her and that potions just gave him a boost to actually express it. Whichever version of the potion you tried affected both me and Selwyn though..." She sipped her wine thoughtfully, "I haven't the slightest clue, but it sounds like this potion is going to start a lot of fights."

She grinned at him.

How long did it take for desserts to be made and served? He doubted that it took that much longer with simple fruit substitutions. Thius periodically scanned their surroundings to see if any tray with their order would make an appearance.

"I don't think it was an issue of proximity as Travers had been walking around with it in her system before getting to Selwyn from what I understood." Hm, perhaps it had to do with attraction? If that's the case that meant Selwyn was attracted to him. Well, it was another reason to never test a potion again.

Raising an eyebrow, he licked his lips as his eyes briefly glanced down to her hands. "You and Selwyn sort of fought. I'd like to watch you freeze him again, I found it riveting..." And those pointy nails? He could imagine how sharp they'd feel going down his back, like a knife, until they left-

A waiter approached with the first few samplings for them. Thius swiftly changed his stance to be natural and more appropriate. He nodded at the waiter and thanked them as a few plates were placed in front of him and his girlfriend.

"Well, I should have been freezing your lips together!" she lashed, "And your hands behind your back!"

Boys were so irritating!

Perhaps she was just getting irritably hungry now. As though hearing her plea, the desserts started to arrive, and her expression immediately changed to one of anticipating glee. They all looked so good! The only one that looked out of place was a panna cotta, which she definitely hadn't ordered.

Should she say anything? Er - no.

Taking up her spoon, she dug into a deconstructed apple charlotte and took a bite.

"Mmm..." For a moment, at least, she forgot about the toil of boys and found her safe space in sweets.

Thius did his best to conceal a grin; showing a liking(?)(!) towards such an image wasn't exactly gentlemanly... "Perhaps you'd get the chance to during a duel."

There, that definitely made it less... Less... Less naughty. That was the word!

Looking at the desserts in front of him, Thius swirled some of his wine around and took a sip, trying to decide which to try first. He grabbed one of the cinnamon madeleines and took a bite, letting out a pleasant hum enjoying some of the notes of nutmeg that were coming through.
