the greatest show ((cherry))

Ollie had heard the rumors about Emerald being pregnant circling around the school, and he knew that it had Gemma on the edge who was super close to Emerald. He tried to stay out of it, and pray that Alayna and Carina didn't find a way to twist this entire story to make Emerald look bad. After everything, he felt himself slowly drifting away from them, and today Ollie was reading in the common room a book relating to his NEWTS.

His NEWTS had him nervous, so he needed to keep himself posted.

He already had been scouted by a couple of Quidditch teams, but right now he needed this more than anything. Since it was always wise to have a backup plan, there were plenty of prospects. He needed to study, and right now reading this book felt like the most efficient way of studying.

She was making one of her daily common room trips to check on her housemates and see if there was anything that needed resolved; it helped her feel less isolated from the rest of Ravenclaw as being Head Girl made her sleep many floors away from everyone else. It had its perks, but it made her feel lonelier outside of classes during the day.

Spying Oleander studying, Cherry decided to sit beside him. She felt as if she didn't talk to him as much compared to the rest of his dorm. "Hi, Ollie! How are you?"

Ollie jumped at the sound of Cherry's voice. He definitely looked like a fool, but once he calmed down, he turned and gave Cherry a huge smile. She had definitely scared him, to say the least. "Hey Cherry, I didn't expect to see you here," he said giving her a huge smile. "I'm good, just doing some studying.' he said with an awkward smile.

Not sure if that was a stupid response, but he had definitely struggled with certain girls. "You look nice," he said giving her a huge smile and feeling bad for saying that. Who does that?

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!" she replied with a reassuring smile. Was she really that quiet? Or was Ollie not the type to pay a lot of attention? Cherry glanced down at the book; ah, NEWTS studying. It was a wonder how she managed to squeeze it in with how much of her time has been occupied this term! "Which subject?" At least her potions project will do well! People would just have to be very careful with it since the fiasco she and Atticus had.

That threw her off. Blushing, Cherry tucked some hair behind her ears. "Um, thanks?" She really didn't know how to respond to that!
