A dip in the pool (Lien)

Alayna somehow reached the pool before Lien did. She had taken a bit of time choosing a swim suit so he would get there before her, but she still beat him. She stood by the edge of the water, her emerald green bikini hugging her body just right. She sat down and stuck her legs in the water as she waited.

He’d spent some time sat in the dormitory, trying to compose himself. This could very easily fall back in his face and go horrendously wrong. What if he came on too strong or something, and she was disgusted? What if he made an absolute fool of himself? The fear was enough to keep him from meeting her there, but then he remembered how she had complimented him...

No, that’s right, he’d be a fool to miss an opportunity with a drop-dead gorgeous girl like her.

When he entered the pool area, he looked at her and caught his breath. “Shit...” he whispered to himself, eyeing her curves. He felt rather... skinny, and lanky. She probably preferred muscles or something.

Alayna turned and looked at him with a smile"There you are. I thought maybe you'd forgotten about me." She slid into the water and felt the warm water envelop her. She resurfaced and smiled up at him, "You gonna join me or leave me to swim by myself?" She began swimming backwards on her back with her chest up to the air. Her swimsuit left little to the imagination so she knew he was probably going wild right now.

He gulped nervously. She looked stunning.

He quickly got into the water, and turned to face her. Oh - that’s right - her brother was back in town. Lien shared a dormitory with Atticus, so the thought crossed his mind whether the boy would mind or not. Some brothers could be extremely protective of their sisters. They were twins, as well. He’d have to be very careful...

“Do you... go swimming a lot?” he asked, treading water. It was the only thing he could think of saying. Everything about her was all rather distracting.

"Actually, yes. I do. It's a calming technique for me. Whenever I'm angry or upset, I just come here and float. I sometimes do laps. It's also how I stay skinny." She said with a smile. She swam over next to him and brushed his leg with her foot, "What about you? What's your favorite hobby?" Now that her brother was back, she would be spending alot of time in Ravenclaw Tower and would see alot of Lien.

Lien appreciated the effort girls put in to staying fit and healthy. It also meant their bodies were a lot more pleasing. He liked curves, but they had to be the right sort of curves.

"Uh..." he gasped stupidly, feeling a part of her slide against him. "I don't really... I mean, school work takes up a lot of my time. I--" He didn't like how he was sounding like a complete loser, so he said: "I like watching quidditch, though." He couldn't really lie and say that he could play, but it was something.

"so you have no interest in having a girlfriend or anything? If school and studies take up so much time." She said teasingly. Everyone wanted to be with someone. And most boys wanted to be with her specifically. "You like quidditch? Do you play? Or do you just observe? You seem to have the build of a chaser. You're probably very gifted at getting balls into holes." She said swimming past him again, brushing up gently once more.

Lien blushed.

"I never really thought about it much..." It was partially true. He didn't really see himself in a relationship with a girl, because he wanted to keep to his own schedules and get the best grades he possibly could. A girl would just get in the way of that. They would probably want him to spend time with her all the time. That being said, of course he liked the idea of getting with a girl. That excited him.

"I, er... don't play, no..." Balls in holes. That was one hell of an innuendo. "I... um." He swallowed again. She was surrounding him like some beautiful shark. He was enjoying her touching him, whether it was intentional or not.

"Well maybe it's something you should think about." She swam up to him this time, not just past him. She looked up at him, "Cat got your tongue?" She bit her bottom lip as she locked eyes with him, "You know I meant what I said. You are very handsome." She trailed a finger slowly up his arm and to his shoulder, "Lien. Do you want to kiss me?" She was tired of beating around the bush. Time to be direct and forward.

Now that she wasn't surrounding him, she was right in front of him. Lien was entranced by the sultriness of her eyes, feeling his pulse quicken and his face go clammy as she ran her fingernail across his skin. He was utterly bewitched. She was saying exactly what he wanted to hear, and opening up the possibility of kissing her. In his wildest dreams, he never could imagine kissing Alayna Nott...

Was it a trick?

Was she mocking him?

He felt like he didn't care. His cheeks were ablaze as he responded: "I'd... love to kiss you, yes."

Alayna watched the gears turn in his brain before sputtering out a response. She was lucky they were in the shallow end of the pool so she could get on her tip toes as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. She leaned up and pressed her lips to his. It felt nice. It felt way more natural than when she had kissed James. She actually found herself enjoying the kiss, which she hadn't really expected.

At first he didn't really know what to do with his hands: they were grasped by his side rather stiffly. He was so nervous when she put her arms around his shoulders, there was a fear that she would feel how madly his heart was racing. His eyes were wide open when her lips pressed against his, but gradually he allowed them to close as he sank into it. Her full, soft lips felt good moving against his. He even put his hands on her waist and stroked her side.

That was the first kiss he'd had where the girl was actually willing. There was one other occasion he'd had where it was a dare, and the girl was complaining so much about having to kiss him of all people. It put him off of socialising like that ever again.

Alayna could tell he was nervous before they started kissing but those nerves seemed to triple now. She could practically feel his heart beating out of his chest. It was rather endearing. It felt good to be with someone nervous rather than someone cocky and full of themselves. When he placed his hands on her waist she moved closer to him to where there was skin to skin contact between them. She felt a purr leave her throat as he stroked her side. When the need for air become to much to ignore she pulled away with a blush.

Her body pressed lightly against him, and a thrill coursed through his body to the tips of his fingers. The kiss became less sweet and a little more intense, but she drew away eventually. He didn't read too much into that. It was nice for him, and if it wasn't nice for her, then so be it. This was an experience he would recall in the near future, he thought. He'd kissed one of the prettiest, most popular girls in the school!

"Is... everything okay?" he asked, wanting to know now instead of later if he was unsatisfactory.

Alayna didn't even give a response. She just kissed him again, deeper this time. She let her hands drift to his hair and started to tug lightly on the ends of it. She pulled away and smiled , "Everything is great." She kissed him again before letting her lips trail down his cheek and over his jaw and down to his neck. She let her lips linger over his collar bone

"Mmn..."

Oh Merlin this was good. He loved the feeling of her fingernails scratching through his scalp, and the way her hot, wet mouth seemed so inviting. He lapped his tongue against hers. Then he was full of adrenaline: it sprang from his chest and made him sensitive to her touch. His breathing became heavier, and more laboured.

Alayna knew he was getting hot. Anyone with eyes could see that. She loved the tease though, it was her favorite part of the game. She licked slowly up his neck to his ear and whispered gently, "Yes, Lien?" She licked her tongue flick out and quickly slide across the love of his ear and let out a little giggle, "Should we stop? We are in public after all. Anyone could walk in." She was genuinely curious if he would choose to stop or keep going

"No..." he breathed, sighing as he felt her tongue wrap around his lobe. "Don't stop."

He cradled her head with his hand and pulled her in again for another taste, but this time he was using more of his tongue to explore her mouth. He knew that she was attractive, that she was popular with the boys and came from a rich, pureblood family; but he didn't know that she was naughty. It excited him, and he didn't think that it would. At least he had something to come back with: that he'd snogged Alayna Nott. In his wildest dreams, he never thought it could happen.
