Liuva is rather cold; she isn't really that trusting of people and tends to be rather standoffish to those she doesn't like. It takes her a while to warm up to people, especially if she feels as though they're unworthy of her attention. One could say that she got her fierce demeanor from her father; she could only be considered a softie to very few people that she cares deeply about. Although it is rather uncertain, there is quite a possibility that she had inherited her mother's uncontrollable bloodlust. Although she knows how to do the more traditionally feminine roles of the tribe, Liuva also has the knowledge that her father had given her to fight so she'd know how to defend herself. In her free time, Liuva tends to enjoy reading various scrolls she may come across along with spying on nearby tribes to help put the Irminones to an advantage if a dispute were to occur. Born to Ricimar and Hydra, Liuva never really got to know her mother. Her mother had been taken away by her grandfather just a few months after her birth. Due to that, she only knew her mother based off of various stories her father had told her about. She felt quite a bit of pressure from the men all around her due to being a woman rather than an heir. Although the Irminones had more gender equality compared to the other tribes, gender roles were still very much emphasized. However, Ricimar decided that it’d be better to raise her to be as strong as possible and give her plenty free will as to how her life would go. She was treated as though a young man would enabling her to be able to take a hold of things if her father and/or his most trusted men were unable to do anything. Other than that, one could say she had a rather average time as a toddler if one were to disregard the fact she was always moving to various places along and around the coast of the North Sea. She had also been in various villages in surrounding countries whenever her father found a threat to be too unsafe for her as he felt as though she wouldn’t have the strength or willpower to defend herself. Liuva had learned how to fend for herself at a few villages over the years as she knew such survival skills could come in handy one day.

She would describe her father as being a fierce warrior who ruled with an iron fist. She would also describe him as being the most caring father ever even if he was rather foolish whenever he fell in love with a random maiden. When it came to those situations, all Liuva would do is find various characteristics of her to point out to him as a way to make sure she wouldn’t end up being his second wife. Over the years, she had observed how obsessed Ricimar still was with her mother. She couldn’t deny that he was still in love with her even if she had been gone since she was just a few months out of the womb. If she had to be honest, she honestly resented her mother for not ever being there for her outside of stories her father told. If she really was wonderful, wouldn’t she have come back to them? Liuva found herself trying to point that out to him although he wouldn’t listen. For all she knew, her mother probably didn’t actually slaughter an entire village. Hell, she probably didn’t even manage to take control of his army whenever he had gotten a bad injury. To her, Hydra was nothing. She was just a concept. She probably didn’t even exist. That was when she began to like the idea of her father finding a new wife. In her opinion, he would be better off. She would be better off. The whole tribe would be better off.

Once she had hit her teenage years, it was official to the tribe that she was a grown woman now. A celebration was held in her honor due to being the daughter of the kuningaz, king, which was a big deal. Not as big as a son would be, but the child nonetheless was considered important. If both her father and his most trusted men were to be killed, it was the first born child, if there is no son, who’d take over the leadership. They were nomadic; they rarely settled down somewhere for a long period of time. Stability of sorts was considered important, especially if the ruler was not one to mess with. Fighting was widespread between tribes whether it’s over territory, theft, kidnapping, etc. Quite a few of the matriarchs of the tribe had been pressuring her to find some nice warrior whether in the tribe or not and get married. It was often believed that marrying a strong warrior was of most importance to the women of the Irminones; legends had told them that they’d be blessed with a fruitful of sons that’d grow up and lead an army of their own or be a member of a well-respected one. That was something she didn’t believe in. Was there really a reason why they felt as though she has to get married? Her father had told her that if she ever wanted to get married that it would be best if she chose somebody that she’d consider most worthy. For the time being, Liuva didn't really have much of an interest in love although the pressure from he matriarchs began to get to her. For now, she decided to learn from her father the best she can and let any opportunity she finds to be of advantage to take her somewhere.

The Lams are a very ancient vampire family that have been thought to have begun existing somewhere in southern/southeastern Asia. New members into the family are rare as most of the family was born in the ancient times with the exception of one of the members having been married at some point in life and produced offspring. The other sisters, however, had neither married nor reproduced for the possibility of infertility due to the matriarch, Glykeria, having been cursed to only produce female offspring and no heirs. The family has a pretty high status in vampiric society and are often considered to be one of the possible original families. Due to their longevity and status, they have a few seats on the council allowing them to have some power in the legislature and many other components of society.
