Danae had been doing some shopping for something to clean her room, but found herself wandering into Knockturn Alley, and she had wandered into the Mr. Mulpeppers, and looked around. Although her mind had been soon interrupted by someone, and she said. "What are you doing here?"

Aeris was rather pissed she had to play errand girl for her parents' white elephant exchanges. Not knowing what to get, she was in the apothecary trying to spend as little galleons as possible on a good potion ingredient or a different potion-related thing.

"Running errands."

She'd rather be gossiping with Niall at some random muggle cafe.

"You know if you are running errands, I'm pretty sure Diagon Alley is your place." she said giving the girl a smile, but she wasn't one for shopping for Dark Arts. The girl turned, and as much as she wasn't a fan of most people she decided to ask. "How is your break treating you?"

"My parents made me go out and buy white elephant gifts for them," Aeris responded rolling her eyes. "Diagon overprices this time of year. The point is to be cheap."

She shrugged. "Could be better. Niall invited me to go to a muggle party sometime soon."

“Oh didn’t think this alleyway was meant for gifts.” she said with a disinterest. Not like she’d buy gifts for the people she cared about to her this place was pure revenge mall. “Fascinating, I’m actually buying something for my broomstick, and then finding a Quidditch match to attend.” smirked Danae. God she hated the idea of muggle parties and to her it seemed a den for fucked up kids.

Aeris shrugged. Part of being in Slytherin was resourcefulness; she was trying to use that trait in some fashion. "Looking for quidditch stuff in an apothecary?"

“It’s a special type of potion to help my broomstick,” she smirked, god people were stupid.

God why did English have to be so stupid? It didn't make sense, Danae smirked. "It's a polishing one, and it is something you English wouldn't understand."

It was the truth, and this place shocked her to have it.

She cocked her head baffled by the other. "The quidditch supply has shelves of polish..."

"I know, but the one I buy is from an apothecary. It's something my former school did."

God this conversation was boring, and Danae just kept looking.

"I thought charms were used for that?"

God Aeris really didn’t get it one bit, Danae scoffed.

Aeris understood cultural differences, but an apothecary selling broom polisher seemed to unbelievable for her.

"I thought potions weren't really for nonliving things?"
