the wayfarer (james)

Blanche was glad that James was up for skipping class with her. Although they were forced to do some unsavoury subjects this year, and would probably face consequences for skipping, Blanche wasn't too concerned. Some of the classes were just a little too crazy...

She knocked on the door of James's dorm, just in case he was changing or something. They didn't really want to be in the common room while skipping class, it would have been too obvious.

James was strumming the guitar feeling glad he was able to skip one class. He struggled to even think of getting out of bed most days - except to shower. He didn't want to smell like stink and adrenaline. So much for even rejoining the quidditch team so he had something to do...

"Come in!" James exclaimed waiting for Blanche to join him.

She heard the guitar. But he still could be playing the guitar in just his pants. Who knows. Anyway, Blanche came bustling in.

"Jamesy!" She chirped, pouncing at one of his dorm mate's beds at random. The mattress bounced a few times before it settled, and she was lying down, stomach side down. "This bed smells pretty nice actually..."

She giggled.

"It smelled worse," he responded. "I'm quite happy to be skipping charms. This new teach is a bore."

James was trying his hardest to hide his somberness and lack of energy. "I'm getting tired of sleeping with Azazel. I might try women again."

She lifted her head from the pillow so fast, she got neck cramp. Rubbing her neck, she sat up instead, and looked across at him.

"Er... did you just say that or...?"

Was she dreaming?!

"Say what? How are you and Celeste?" James wondered as he continued strumming his guitar.
