Kodi didn’t like being summoned to meet with the royals of the vampire world. He sometimes felt like they didn’t get him. Waking into the headquarters, he thought of all the other things he could be doing that didn’t involve dealing with the royals. Yet he had a respect for them and thought they did pretty well for being around, but no one questioned Kodi.

He walked into the throne room and gave a smile, “You wanted to see me?” he said with a smirk, “And could you make it quick because I got so much I need to do” he said with a charming smirk. A lot came with being a deal maker and he had to get back to it.

Akeldama was waiting for a member of the council to meet her. Due to Alucard's chronic unwillingness to own up to his responsibilities, she had grown desperate enough to want to approach one of her inferiors to carry out some of his tasks.

"Yes, I do. Think of what I need to you to do as a privilege."

He liked the sound of that and he stood in front of his queen asked, “What would that privilege be, your majesty?” even if he dreaded commitment but he did hold respect for his superiors, with hopes of receiving a good profit.

Kodi scoffed at the thought of Alucard being MIA. Giving Akel a smirk, “Is Alucard out in the Wizard world again doing god knows what?” he asked with a curious tone. He didn’t mind doing the task but he wanted to just what they would consist of and he asked. “Now what do these tasks consist of?” he asked.

He didn’t mind living like a king for a day. Even if he applauded Alucard for trying to live in the wizard world.

Akeldama nodded. "Running some idiotic nightclub. He's stuck in his adolescence."

Was the other ready to hear just how boring it was to be a royal? "Deal with all diplomatic paperwork and offers that are too much for the secretaries. Also most of the tasks on my itinerary as I hardly get a break nowadays due to his lack of care for his position." She handed the other a list of various tasks to do.

"Despite technically being above the head of the council in position, I do far more work than he does."
