Not knowing what to do as a gift, Reed decided to invite his person to the record store in Knockturn and let her pick whatever with him buying it for her. That worked, right?

He waited in front of Jaded Mammoth for her to arrive.

"Accurate but unrepresentative would be my best assessment. There's a lot more depth to the vampire than a one page blurb could ever do justice, but for the most part, what they say is not wholly inaccurate," Liliana informed her shopping companion.

"Which folklore?" Liliana questioned back. "Every culture has had different concepts of what a vampire is, and they evolve with culture. You know about Chinese vampires right?"

"Uhhhhhh..." That was a very good question. "I'm familiar with those cages made on top of graves to prevent vampires from escaping. That's about it."

"Chinese vampires, according to mythology at least, jump around with their arms outstretched straight in front of themselves, which is not something any vampire I have encountered does. But something like that idea is an exemplar about how difficult the question you just asked is to answer. Every culture has a view of what a vampire should be, and those views have adapted and evolved over time. The popularity of vampires in muggle culture as a conceptual creature for storytelling further muddies that question," Liliana spouted.
